A vehicular alert system a microphone disposed at a vehicle. The vehicular alert system, responsive to processing of audio data captured by the microphone, determines an audio event occurring external of the vehicle. The vehicular alert system, responsive to determination that the audio event occurred external of the vehicle, generates an alert for an occupant of the vehicle. The alert includes vibration of a seat of the vehicle and the alert includes a visual alert at a display screen disposed within the vehicle and viewable by a driver of the vehicle. The visual alert indicates direction toward the determined audio event.

Vehicular sound processing system with enhanced recognition of audible alerts from other vehicles

A vehicular sensing system includes at least one radar sensor disposed at a vehicle and capturing radar data, an electronic control unit (ECU) having a data processor for processing radar data captured by the at least one radar sensor to detect an object present exterior of the vehicle. The vehicular sensing system, during a parking maneuver of the equipped vehicle, responsive to processing by the data processor of radar data captured by the at least one radar sensor, determines the detected object is within a threshold distance of a predicted path of an exterior side mirror assembly of the vehicle. The vehicular sensing system, responsive to determining the object is within the threshold distance of the predicted path of the exterior side mirror assembly of the vehicle, automatically folds the exterior side mirror assembly toward the side of the vehicle.

Radar-based vehicular exterior mirror collision avoidance system

A vehicular occupant health monitoring system includes a heartbeat sensor disposed at a vehicle and operable to capture sensor data measuring an aspect associated with the heart of an occupant of the vehicle. A control includes a processor operable to process sensor data captured by the heartbeat sensor and provided to the control. The vehicular occupant health monitoring system, responsive to processing by the processor of sensor data captured by the heartbeat sensor, determines whether the measured aspect associated with the heart of the occupant is abnormal. The vehicular occupant health monitoring system, responsive to determining the measured aspect associated with the heart of the occupant is abnormal, controls a function of the vehicle.

Vehicular driving assist system responsive to driver health monitoring

A vehicular alert system includes a door locking control disposed at a vehicle and operable to lock a plurality of doors of the vehicle responsive to a door lock signal received from a remote transmitter carried by a user. The remote transmitter is operable to transmit a triggering signal to the door locking control. Responsive to the transmitted triggering signal, the door locking control locks the doors of the vehicle. Responsive to the transmitted triggering signal, the vehicular alert system determines whether at least one door of the vehicle is not fully closed. Responsive to determination that at least one door of the vehicle is not fully closed, the vehicular alert system generates an alert to alert the user that at least one door of the vehicle is not fully closed.
