A booster splitter for a gas turbine engine and a method of additively manufacturing the booster splitter are provided. The booster splitter includes an annular inner wall defining a radially outer boundary of a compressor flow path defined through a compressor section of the gas turbine engine, an annular outer wall spaced apart from the annular inner wall along the radial direction, the annular outer wall adjacent to the annular inner wall at a forward end, the forward end defining an inlet to the compressor flow path, an annular bulkhead spanning between the annular inner wall and the annular outer wall substantially along the radial direction, the bulkhead defining an inlet port, and a passageway defined within the annular outer wall, the passageway extending from the inlet port, into the bulkhead, radially outward to the outer wall, and through the annular outer wall towards the inlet defined by the forward end.

Additively manufactured booster splitter with integral heating passageways

A booster splitter for a gas turbine engine and a method of additively manufacturing the booster splitter are provided. The booster splitter includes an annular outer wall defining an internal fluid passageway in fluid communication with a fluid supply and terminating in discharge ports that eject a flow of fluid into the compressor section of the gas turbine engine. The internal fluid passageway may also be in fluid communication with heating plenums of a first plurality of airfoils for heating those airfoils.

Systems and methods for validating electrical network models are provided. Systems include a memory configured to store electrical network model data for an electrical network. The electronic device also includes data processing circuitry configured to define in the memory an electrical network model object based, at least in part, on the electrical network model data. The data processing circuitry is further configured to create copies of the electrical network model object in the memory, wherein each copy of the electrical network model object corresponds to a respective set of rules, and wherein each set of rules independently defines a plurality of constraints relating to at least a portion of a plurality of parameters of the electrical network. The data processing circuitry is further configured to determine, in parallel, whether each copy of the electrical network model object is valid with respect to the corresponding set of rules.

System and method for validating an electrical network model

A monitoring system is provided. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor that is configured to detect at least one fault within a power generation system. Moreover, the monitoring system includes a computing device that is coupled to the sensor. The computing device includes an interface that is configured to receive a signal representative of the fault. The computing device also includes a processor that is programmed to identify a location of the fault by considering a plurality of potential fault locations and the processor is programmed to determine at least one restoration solution to restore the fault by considering a plurality of potential restoration solutions.

Systems and methods to monitor the operation of a power generation system

A processor for use in simulating operation of a portion of an electrical circuit is provided. The processor is configured to receive at least one input indicative of electrical circuit data related to the electrical circuit being simulated, generate a model of the electrical circuit based on the at least one input, receive a user input that indicates the portion of the electrical circuit to be simulated, generate, based on the user input and the electrical circuit model, a partial circuit snapshot that corresponds to the portion of the electrical circuit, and apply at least one event to the partial circuit snapshot to simulate operation of the corresponding portion of the electrical circuit.
