Systems, methods, and devices provide multi-user communication between wireless devices. Methods include identifying, using processing elements of a software enabled access point, a plurality of wireless devices communicatively coupled to the software enabled access point, aggregating, using the processing elements, data associated with the plurality of wireless devices, and generating, using the processing elements, transmission instructions identifying transmission periods for the plurality of wireless devices. Methods also include generating, using the processing elements, a data frame based on the aggregated data, the data frame comprising a data payload that comprises the aggregated data and the transmission instructions.

Multi-user communication for wireless devices

Implementations disclosed describe systems and methods that include establishing, by a wireless device, a communication link with a wireless access point (AP) device over an operating channel, the wireless AP device providing a single-band access within a first frequency band; time-multiplexing, by the wireless device, transmitting beacons or probes within a second frequency band with communicating with the wireless AP device over the operating channel within the first frequency band; and configuring the beacons or probes to advertise, to other wireless devices in the second frequency band, availability of connection to the wireless AP device over the operating channel within the first frequency band.

Peer-assisted, out-of-band discovery of a single-band wireless access point

Implementations disclosed describe techniques to effectuate operating mode changes of a wireless connection between a first communication device (CD) and a second CD. In an example embodiment, the disclosed techniques may include detecting, by a wireless network controller of the second CD, an indication that the first CD has requested the operating mode change from a first operating mode to a second operating mode. The disclosed techniques may further include modifying a transmission information (TI) associated with one or more frames in a transmission queue of the second CD, the TI including a representation used by a physical layer of the second CD to configure transmission of a respective frame to the first CD, wherein the one or more frames in the transmission queue have been previously programmed with a first-mode TI, and wherein modification of the TI is to a second-mode TI.

Ultra-low latency operating mode effectuation in wireless network controllers

Systems, methods, and devices schedule network traffic for wireless communications devices. Methods include identifying a plurality of stations included in a first network, and generating, using one or more processors of a first access point, a network traffic schedule configured to assign a plurality of service periods to the plurality of stations, the network traffic schedule identifying a plurality of sleep times and wake times for the plurality of stations. Methods further include transmitting a query frame to at least one station of the plurality of stations during a designated service period, and receiving a data transmission from the at least one station, the data transmission being generated by the station based on transmission parameters included in the query frame.
