Methods and systems for provisioning transferable access tokens are disclosed. An access device associated with a resource provider can communicate with a first communication device as part of an interaction between a first user and the resource provider. The access device can generate an authorization request message comprising a first access token and an interaction value. The access device can transmit the authorization request message to an authorization computer. The authorization computer can authorize the interaction and generate an authorization response message. After authorizing the interaction, the authorization computer can provide a transferable access token to the first communication device. The first communication device can transmit the transferable access token to a second communication device, so that a second user can use the transferable access token in an interaction.

Provisioning transferable access tokens

A computer-implemented method for partitioning mobile device transactions may include generating a machine-readable indicia encoded with transaction data for a transaction between a merchant and at least one user; receiving a transaction request message including the transaction value and a split payment identifier; initiating a programmatic timer for a time interval in response to receiving the transaction request message from the first mobile device; receiving at least one additional transaction request message prior to expiration of the time interval; partitioning the transaction value between each of the first user account and the at least one other user account based at least partially on the transaction request message; and generating a separate authorization request message for each of the first user account and the at least one other user account, each authorization request message including a partial transaction value representing a portion of the transaction value.

System, method, and computer program product for partitioning mobile device transactions

A merchant website includes a QR code button to initiate a payment transaction. The QR code button is selected by a consumer at checkout. If selected, a QR code is generated on a second computing device. The QR code is displayed on a second computing device and contains embedded data such as a token for a PAN stored in a memory of the second computing device and two cryptograms. A webcam in communication with the first computing device is used to scan the QR code. The data embedded in the QR code is passed from the second computing device to the merchant website via the first computing device and used to complete the payment transaction.

The method includes receiving transaction data associated with a transaction, automatically requesting a token associated with the transaction from a transaction processing network in response to receiving the transaction data, receiving the token from the transaction processing network, automatically and wirelessly transmitting the token from a first device to a second device via NFC in response to receiving the token from the transaction processing network, automatically transmitting the token to the transaction processing network in response to receiving the token from the first device, receiving an authorization response associated with the transaction from the transaction processing network, and determining a compatibility of an application associated with at least one of the first device and the second device with the transaction processing network based on the authorization response.
