Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set that includes a first SRS resource associated with a first SRS resource indicator (SRI) and a first antenna of the UE, and a second SRS resource associated with a second SRI and a second antenna of the UE. The UE may receive first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a first uplink communication on a first uplink channel, wherein the first DCI indicates the first SRI. The UE may transmit, using the first antenna, the first uplink communication using a transmit power that is based at least in part on a weighted average of a first pathloss associated with the first antenna and a second pathloss associated with the second antenna. Power control for sounding reference signal resource indicator based antenna selection

Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating HARQ feedback multiplexing on PUSCH with repetitions are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving an uplink grant scheduling an uplink transmission associated with a repetition quantity, the uplink grant including a bit indicator. The example method also includes transmitting a first repetition of the uplink transmission. The first repetition may include multiplexing of a quantity of HARQ-ACK feedback bits HARQ-ACK feedback for a PDSCH scheduled by a downlink grant, and the quantity of the HARQ-ACK feedback bits may be based on the bit indicator. The first repetition and the HARQ-ACK feedback may overlap in a time domain.

Techniques to enhance HARQ-ACK multiplexing on PUSCH with repetitions

Aspects of the disclosure are directed to optimizing transmission at a user equipment (UE) such that configured grant (CG) and dynamic grant (DG) uplink communications are transmitted via the same channel or antenna port. In some examples, the UE may be configured to obtain, from a network node, a first signal activating a configured grant (CG) for uplink communication via a first port of the apparatus. In some examples, the UE may be configured to obtain, from the network node, a second signal indicating a dynamic grant (DG) for uplink communication via a second port of the apparatus. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support techniques for a user equipment (UE) to select a scheduling request resource from multiple scheduling request resources allocated across different cells based on one or more conditions. The UE may receive control signaling that indicates a first scheduling request resource on a first cell and a second scheduling request resource on a second cell. The UE may generate a scheduling request applicable to the first and second scheduling request resources. The UE may select the first scheduling request resource for transmission of the scheduling request on the first cell based on one or more of a power mode of the UE, a signal metric associated with the first cell, or a numerology of the first cell. The UE may transmit the scheduling request via the first resource on the first cell based on the selecting.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, via a subscription of the UE to a network node, a UE assistance information (UAI) that indicates a reduction to one uplink multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) layer for the subscription. The UE may transmit, via the subscription to the network node, an uplink transmission using one uplink MIMO layer on one transmit (Tx) chain of the UE based at least in part on the UAI and a timer associated with the UAI. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine whether a collision is to occur between a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission that includes a scheduling request (SR), and multiple physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmissions in a slot. The UE may transmit, to a base station (BS), the PUCCH transmission or the multiple PUSCH transmissions based at least in part on determining whether the collision is to occur in the slot. Scheduling request (SR) overlap with a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission

Aspects in a wireless network are disclosed. A user equipment (UE) may report, to a base station, a capability of the UE to simultaneously transmit sounding reference signal (SRS) resources between component carriers (CCs) in carrier aggregation (CA) across at least one frequency band using a specified arrangement of antenna ports and antennas. The UE may receive, from the base station, a configuration to simultaneously transmit the SRS resources using antenna switching for the CCs across the at least one frequency band and the specified arrangement of antenna ports and antennas. The UE may transmit the SRS resources simultaneously between at least two of the plurality of CCs in the at least one frequency band using the received configuration. Among other benefits, this dynamic allocation of resources enables the UE to perform at a level commensurate with its intrinsic capabilities, increasing network efficiency and speed.

Switching configuration for simultaneous intra and inter-band SRS transmissions

A user equipment (UE) may make a joint decision of adaptive receive diversity (ARD) and adaptive transmit diversity (ATD) configurations, including transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) antennas selection and/or blanking based on downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) traffic conditions. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding out of order uplink data reception upon data radio bearer (DRB) release or quality of service (QoS) flow addition. An exemplary method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE), includes receiving an indication from a base station (BS) that multiplexing of hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) information and channel state information (CSI) is enabled in all physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources, generating a first CSI report regarding a first downlink (DL) channel from the BS, multiplexing a HARQ response to a transmission from the BS and the first CSI report in a PUCCH, and transmitting the PUCCH to the BS via one of the PUCCH resources.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit sounding reference signals (SRSs) on a first carrier over multiple symbols within a slot, the first carrier being different from a second carrier on which the UE communicates with a base station during the slot. For example, the base station may transmit, to the UE, an SRS configuration for the UE to transmit the SRSs. In accordance with the control message, the UE may tune to the first carrier and may transmit the SRSs over the multiple symbols within the slot on the first carrier before tuning back to the second carrier. In some examples, the UE may transmit a capability message to the base station indicating that the UE supports transmitting SRSs over multiple symbols within a slot before tuning back to a different carrier.

Techniques for sounding reference signal carrier switching

Techniques for reference signaling related to transmission power controls for communication devices are discussed and provided. A user equipment (UE) receives one or more sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission power control (TPC) configuration for uplink carriers. The SRS TPC configuration can comprise a mapping from one uplink carrier to one or more component carrier sets. The UE receives, from a monitoring cell, a downlink control information (DCI) comprising a request for SRS transmission on uplink carrier(s) and/or TPC command(s) for SRS transmission on the uplink carrier(s). The UE determines uplink carrier(s) corresponding to the SRS request and/or the TPC command(s) at least based on a correspondence between the SRS TPC configurations and the one or more uplink carriers or based on starting bit information.

Sounding reference signal carrier switching

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for configuring a user equipment (UE) for reference signal measurement while operating according to a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration. The DRX configuration may include periodic DRX ON-durations, during which the UE is to be in an active mode for reception and transmission of signals, and between which the UE may transition to a low-power inactive mode. One or more reference signals may be scheduled for transmission by the base station during periods in which the UE may be in the inactive mode, and the UE may skip monitoring one or more of the reference signals while in the inactive mode. For one or more reference signal occasions, the UE may determine, based at least in part on a change in a channel quality metric, to be in a limited active mode in order to measure the reference signal.

Channel measurement techniques in discontinuous reception scenarios

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may refrain from transmitting channel state information (CSI) if the CSI is configured to be transmitted during an inactive discontinuous reception (DRX) duration. The UE may determine that the CSI is configured to be transmitted during the inactive DRX duration based on determining that some or all of the configured time slot for transmitting the CSI occurs while the UE is operating in the inactive DRX duration. The UE may transmit feedback information, such as an acknowledgement (ACK), whether or not the UE drops the CSI.

Dropping channel state information during discontinuous reception

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending uplink control information. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving an uplink grant for transmission on a plurality of physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs), the plurality of PUSCHs being located on different component carriers (CCs); identifying one or more PUSCHs of the plurality of PUSCHs on which uplink control information (UCI) can be transmitted in a slot; assigning PUSCH data to the one or more identified PUSCHs on which the UCI can be transmitted before assigning PUSCH data to remaining PUSCHs of the plurality of PUSCHs; and transmitting the UCI and the PUSCH data in the slot on the assigned PUSCHs.
