A heat transfer fluid system for a vehicle including an electric energy supply system such as a fuel cell system and/or a battery system, the heat transfer fluid system including a heat transfer fluid circuit arranged for controlling the temperature of the electric energy supply system via a heat transfer fluid, and a heat transfer fluid storage tank defining a tank volume for the heat transfer fluid, the heat transfer fluid storage tank including a partition dividing the tank volume into a first volume and a second volume, and a biasing device, wherein the partition is movable to/from any position between a minimum heat storage position corresponding to a minimum second volume, and a maximum heat storage position corresponding to a maximum second volume, and the heat transfer fluid system further including a valve assembly including one or more valves.

Heat transfer fluid system for a vehicle

A cooling system includes a fluid circuit and a cooler arranged in fluid communication with said fluid circuit. The cooler regulates the temperature of said coolant. The fluid circuit comprises a first coolant fluid branch for circulating coolant to regulate a temperature of a low temperature component and a second coolant fluid branch for circulating coolant to regulate a temperature of a high temperature component. A first pump unit is arranged in said first coolant fluid branch. A coolant temperature control system is disposed in said first coolant fluid branch and regulates a temperature of the coolant to the low temperature component on the basis of a temperature difference between a coolant temperature upstream the coolant temperature control system and a temperature required at an inlet of the low temperature component. A second pump unit is arranged in said second coolant fluid branch, and directs coolant to said high temperature component; wherein the second coolant fluid branch intersects with the first coolant fluid branch at a fluid circuit position downstream the low temperature component.

An energy storage tank defining a tank volume for heat transfer fluid and comprising a partition dividing the tank volume into a first volume and a second volume, wherein the partition is movable to/from any position between a minimum energy storage position corresponding to a minimum second volume, and a maximum energy storage position corresponding to a maximum second volume, the energy storage tank further comprising a biasing device being arranged such that movement of the partition away from the minimum energy storage position corresponds to storing energy in the biasing device, and movement towards the minimum energy storage position corresponds to releasing energy from the biasing device.

An electric machine drive arrangement for a heavy-duty vehicle. The electric machine drive arrangement comprises a motor drive system inverter with an alternating current side for interfacing with an electric machine. The electric machine drive arrangement comprises a brake arrangement comprising a braking resistor circuit connectable to a control circuit. The electric machine drive arrangement comprises a rectifier arrangement connected in parallel between the brake arrangement and the motor drive system inverter on the alternating current side of the motor drive system inverter.

Electric machine drive arrangement for a heavy-duty vehicle

System for supplying compressed air to a fuel cell of a vehicle, comprising a first compressor having an inlet for receiving air and an outlet for delivering compressed air to the fuel cell; an air storage tank arranged upstream and in series with the first compressor and configured to store compressed air of high pressure; an air selection control assembly comprising a selection valve and a switch actuator configured to operate the selection valve, wherein said selection valve is arranged in between air storage tank and inlet of the first compressor, and further in fluid communication with an inlet conduit for receiving fresh air, said switch actuator being configured to operate the selection valve to selectively control flow of air to the first compressor such that air can be supplied from the air storage tank to the first compressor or from the fresh air inlet conduit to the first compressor.
