The invention refers to a wireless device and to operating the wireless terminal, UE, connected to a serving network node associated to a serving cell of a radio access network, RAN, the method comprising: receiving system information from a neighbour cell of the serving cell, determining from the system information if the neighbour cell does or does not broadcast a global cell identifier, CGI, of the neighbour cell; and if the neighbour cell does not broadcast the CGI, transmitting a global cell identifier, CGI, report to the serving network node, wherein the CGI report includes an indication that the neighbour cell does not broadcast the CGI of the neighbour cell. The invention further refers to a corresponding network node and to a method performed in the network node.

Cell global identity reporting

Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a cellular radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving, from the cellular RAN, a measurement reporting configuration comprising identification of non-cellular signals, of one or more types, for which measurements are requested from the UE. Such methods include measuring at least the identified non-cellular signals and transmitting, to the cellular RAN, a measurement report including one or more of the following for each particular type of identified non-cellular signal: a first indication of whether the UE's corresponding non-cellular receiver was enabled during a measurement duration, and a second indication of whether the UE was out-of-coverage during the measurement duration in relation to all identified non-cellular signals of the particular type. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a network node, as well as UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.

User equipment (UE) reporting of non-cellular receiver status

Systems and methods related to balancing random access resources between 2-step Random Access Channel (RACH) and 4-step RACH. In one embodiment, a method performed by a first network node comprises obtaining information related to 2-step RACH and/or 4-step RACH, for cell(s) and/or beam(s) controlled by the first network node. The method further comprises determining, based on the obtained information, first assistance information for 2-step and/or 4-step RACH configuration, for the cell(s) and/or the beam(s) controlled by the first network node. The method further comprises transmitting, to a second network node, second assistance information for the 2-step and/or 4-step RACH configuration, for the cell(s) and/or the beam(s) controlled by the first network node. The second assistance information comprises the first assistance information or information that indicates one or more parts of the first assistance information.

Balancing RA resources between 2-step RACH and 4-step RACH

A method () for reporting radio link failure, RLF, information. The method includes a user equipment, UE, detecting (s) an RLF with respect to a master cell group, MCG. The method also includes, in response to detecting the RLF with respect to the MCG, the UE storing (s) RLF information. The method also includes the UE sending (s) a first message comprising MCG failure information, e.g., the RLF information, and activating a timer. The method also includes the UE receiving (s) a second message after sending the first message and activating the timer. Method, product and apparatus for treating master cell group, MCG, failure and radio link failure, RLF, reporting

Embodiments include methods for failure reporting by a user equipment (UE) operating in a cell of a first network. Such methods include sending, to a network node serving the cell, a message that includes a first indication of availability of one or more failure reports. Each available failure report corresponds to a failure that occurred while the UE was operating in the first network, a network different than the first network, or a network of a different type than the first network. Such methods also include receiving, from the network node, a request for at least a portion of the failure reports indicated as available by the first indication; and sending at least one of the available failure reports to the network node in accordance with the request. Other embodiments include complementary methods for a network node as well as UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.

Failure reporting for non-public networks in 5G

A method performed by a first network node. The first network node operates in a communications network. The method is for handling a measurement configuration. The first network node sends an indication to a second network node operating in the communications network. The indication indicates a transmission status of one or more Channel State Information-Reference Signal (CSI-RS) configurations of the first network node. A radio network node, a wireless device and methods performed therein for handling communication in a wireless communication network are provided. The method performed by the wireless device comprises obtaining an indication indicating which beams to be included in a cell quality derivation of a cell; and performing one or more measurements on one or more beams, which one or more beams are selected based on the obtained indication. Radio network node, wireless device and methods performed therein

In accordance with particular embodiments, there is disclosed herein a method performed by a wireless device for measurement reporting. The method includes detecting a first number of beams. The method also includes measuring one or more characteristics of a second number of beams. The second number of beams comprises one or more beams of the first number of beams. The method additionally includes generating a measurement report that includes beam measurement information derived from the measurement of the one or more characteristics of the second number of beams. The method further includes transmitting the measurement report with the beam measurement information to a network node.

Measurement reporting enhancements in beam based systems

A method () performed by a wireless device () includes receiving (), from a network node (), a Minimization of Drive Test, MDT, configuration for a master cell group, MCG, and a secondary cell group, SCG. While the wireless device is in an idle state or an inactive state and operating according to a first Radio Access Technology, RAT, the wireless device logs () MDT measurements for the MCG and the SCG based on the MDT configuration. Handling of logged minimization drive test configurations in dual connectivity scenario

Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment, UE, for reporting failures related to mobility operations by the UE to a network node in a radio access network, RAN. Such methods include logging () information associated with a plurality of failures during conditional handover, CHO, operations related to a source cell and one or more first target cells. Reporting failures of conditional handover mobility operations

The present disclosure relates generally to communications, and more particularly to methods, computer program products, wireless devices and related nodes for Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) handover reports. In one example embodiment, a method is performed by a wireless device. A DAPS handover is performed. Also, a type of handover report is determined. Furthermore, a handover report of the determined type is compiled and optionally stored. Still further, the handover report is transmitted to a network node operating as an access node.
