A method performed by a source access node for performing data forwarding at handover of a UE from a source cell to a target cell in a wireless communications network is provided. When a criterion for data forwarding is fulfilled, the source access node obtains a trigger for downlink data forwarding. When receiving the trigger, the source access node initiates downlink data forwarding to the UE via the target access node.

The invention refers to a wireless device and to operating the wireless terminal, UE, connected to a serving network node associated to a serving cell of a radio access network, RAN, the method comprising: receiving system information from a neighbour cell of the serving cell, determining from the system information if the neighbour cell does or does not broadcast a global cell identifier, CGI, of the neighbour cell; and if the neighbour cell does not broadcast the CGI, transmitting a global cell identifier, CGI, report to the serving network node, wherein the CGI report includes an indication that the neighbour cell does not broadcast the CGI of the neighbour cell. Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a cellular radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving, from the cellular RAN, a measurement reporting configuration comprising identification of non-cellular signals, of one or more types, for which measurements are requested from the UE. Such methods include measuring at least the identified non-cellular signals and transmitting, to the cellular RAN, a measurement report including one or more of the following for each particular type of identified non-cellular signal: a first indication of whether the UE's corresponding non-cellular receiver was enabled during a measurement duration, and a second indication of whether the UE was out-of-coverage during the measurement duration in relation to all identified non-cellular signals of the particular type. Embodiments include methods for failure reporting by a user equipment (UE) operating in a cell of a first network. Such methods include sending, to a network node serving the cell, a message that includes a first indication of availability of one or more failure reports. Each available failure report corresponds to a failure that occurred while the UE was operating in the first network, a network different than the first network, or a network of a different type than the first network. Such methods also include receiving, from the network node, a request for at least a portion of the failure reports indicated as available by the first indication; and sending at least one of the available failure reports to the network node in accordance with the request.
