A method, network node and wireless device for network guided wireless device (WD) cell reselection are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes obtaining an indication of a set of parameters of a plurality of sets of parameters, the parameters in a set including at least one index and at least one priority, the index used to configure the WD to select a frequency priority based at least in part on the index. The method further includes selecting one of a network slice, frequency and service, based at least in part on the index and included in the set of parameters.

Method for network-guided WD cell reselection

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for logging of measurement results performed while a wireless communication device is in an inactive or idle state such that the logged information includes information that indicates a status of the respective carrier when logging the measurement results. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving a measurement configuration(s) for performing early measurement on a carrier and performing the early measurement on the carrier in accordance with the measurement configuration(s) to provide measurement results. The method further comprises logging the measurement results along with information that indicates a status of the carrier when logging the measurement results. By logging the information that indicates the status of the carrier when logging the measurement results, operations performed based on the measurement results can be more reliable.

Embodiments include methods for a user equipment (UE) configured to operate in a cellular radio access network (RAN). Such methods include receiving, from the cellular RAN, a measurement reporting configuration comprising identification of non-cellular signals, of one or more types, for which measurements are requested from the UE. Embodiments include methods for failure reporting by a user equipment (UE) operating in a cell of a first network. Such methods include sending, to a network node serving the cell, a message that includes a first indication of availability of one or more failure reports. Each available failure report corresponds to a failure that occurred while the UE was operating in the first network, a network different than the first network, or a network of a different type than the first network.
