Gas admission valve assembly includes a housing, an elongated valve guide disposed within a central bore of the housing, a valve including a valve stem slidably disposed within the valve guide and a valve head selectively engagable with a valve seat of the housing to control flow between gas entry and exit openings into a housing entry chamber. First and second stem seals are disposed at opposite ends of the valve guide in sealing engagement with the valve stem between the valve stem and the central bore of the housing distally and the valve guide proximally.

An engine valve actuation system includes a rotatable camshaft having a cam lobe, and a lifter arm assembly having a lifter arm with a roller in contact with the cam lobe. A bushing is positioned in a pin bore of the lifter arm and journals the lifter arm upon the pin for reciprocation in response to rotation of the camshaft. An incoming oil passage extends to the pin bore, and an outgoing oil passage extends from the pin bore. The outgoing oil passage forms an oil spray port defining an oil spray path oriented to direct a spray of oil at the roller and/or the cam lobe. An oil feed groove is formed in at least one of the lifter arm or the bushing and fluidly connects the incoming oil passage to the outgoing oil passage.

A rocker base is disclosed for use with a valve actuation system. The rocker base may have a housing with a top, a bottom, side walls connecting the top to the bottom, and end walls disposed between the side walls. The rocker base may also have rocker arm supports located inside the housing and integrally formed with the side walls, and an injector spring pad extending from one of the end walls toward a center of the housing. The rocker base may further have a rib connecting the injector spring pad to one of the rocker arm supports.

A washer member disposed in a valve housing of an engine is disclosed. The washer member resiliently supports an injector push member via an elastic member and receives a pair of hydraulic lash adjusters for operating an inlet valve and an outlet valve of a cylinder of the engine. The washer member includes a base portion adapted to abut a support member disposed within the valve housing. The support member defines a clearance with the valve housing to movably dispose the pair of hydraulic lash adjusters within the valve housing. The washer member further includes a side portion extending from the base portion. The side portion is configured to define a lateral movement of the elastic member within a tolerance limit. The side portion is further configured to define a rotational movement of the washer member within a tolerance limit.
