A system provides for evaluating a hotel guest's satisfaction of a hotel, the hotel including a plurality of guest rooms, the hotel guest staying in a guest room of the plurality of guest rooms in the hotel. The system includes one or more sensors within the guest room that are configured to provide data points indicative of guest activities in the guest room, the one or more sensors operably coupled to a hotel network within the hotel. A server is remote from the guest room and is configured to receive the data points from the one or more sensors via a connection to the hotel network and to use the data points to calculate a guest satisfaction score for the guest room. The server is configured to display the guest satisfaction score.

Methods and systems for determining guest satisfaction including guest sleep quality in hotels

A Building Management System (BMS) may be controlled in accordance with predicted occupancy using a trained model. A model is trained by providing the model with time stamped environmental data and corresponding time stamped occupancy data pertaining to a training building, wherein the time stamped environmental data is derived from one or more environmental sensors of the training building and the corresponding time stamped occupancy data is derived from one or more occupancy sensors of the training building. Once trained, the trained model is provided with time stamped environmental data for a use building that is derived from one or more environmental sensors of the use building. The trained model outputs a predicted occupancy value that represents a predicted occupancy count in the use building, and the BMS of the use building is controlled based at least in part on the predicted occupancy value.

Systems and methods for predicting occupancy for one building using a model trained at another building

A multi-site Building Management System (BMS) monitors performance of a local BMS at each of a plurality of remote sites. The multi-site BMS includes a controller that is configured to determine a plurality of local performance metrics associated with each local BMS based on the operational data received from each local BMS and to aggregate like ones of the plurality of local performance metrics, resulting in a plurality of aggregated performance metrics. The controller is configured to display on the display a plurality of panels, to display in each of the plurality of panels the corresponding one of the plurality of aggregated performance metrics and to display in each of the plurality of panels a ranking of one or more of the remote sites by their corresponding local performance metric.

Appropriate ventilation for a building space while maintaining building comfort includes tracking one or more interior environmental conditions within the building space and one or more exterior environmental conditions outside of the building space during operation of the HVAC system. An environmental model for the building space is learned over time based at least in part on these tracked environmental conditions, where the environmental model predicts an environmental state of the building space in response to operation of the HVAC system under various interior and exterior environmental conditions. A maximum allowed ventilation rate that can be achieved without causing the HVAC system to compromise on any of one or more comfort conditions of the building space is predicted using the environmental model. The outdoor air ventilation damper of the HVAC system is then controlled to provide an appropriate ventilation up to or at the predicted maximum allowed ventilation rate.

A method for determining an energy score for a guest room of a hotel having a plurality of guest rooms includes identifying two or more energy saving conditions associated with the guest room under which there is an opportunity to save energy when controlling the guest room without sacrificing guest comfort. The guest room is controlled in a designated energy savings mode when one or more of the energy savings room conditions are detected, and controlling the guest room in a guest comfort mode when none of the energy savings room conditions are detected. An energy score for the guest room is determined based at least in part on a measure of reliability of detecting the two or more energy savings conditions of the guest room, and thus the ability to take advantage of the opportunities to save energy when controlling the guest room.

Devices, methods, and systems for monitoring and/or assessing compliance with infectious disease guidance for reducing infectious disease transmissions are described herein. The systems may include sensing devices at or within a facility and computing devices to compare data based on outputs from the sensing devices with guidance and/or recommendations for mitigating infectious disease transmission. Various compliance parameters may be identified as being relevant to the guidelines and measurable with outputs from the sensing devices. The compliance parameters may be individually scored or scored in groups, including the compliance parameters not measureable with outputs from the sensing devices, and a score relative to a facility or group of facilities may be provided. A system or common model of the devices and equipment at the building may be accessible by a technician during setup of a BMS for a building. The system model may enforce standardized device names and standardized point names that may be hardware agnostic for the plurality of devices and equipment installed at the building. A gateway in communication with the installed devices and equipment, along with a computing device storing the system model, may receive point information from the installed devices and equipment and convert the received point information into hardware agnostic point information. A computer system provides a method for analyzing various parameters, variables and/or conditions associated with the operation of HVAC systems. Some example computer systems display a coordinate system with multiple graphs of variables and conditions having disparate units of measure, such as degrees Centigrade, percent, ppm, on/off, etc. In some examples, variables and conditions with similar units of measure are grouped together. The groups of similar units are plotted along different segments of the coordinate system's y-axis. The segments and their respective graphs of similar units are distributed vertically, one above the other. All of the graphs, however, share a common x-axis, which is labeled in units of time. This makes it easier to visually compare multiple, disparate variables and conditions at particular points in time. When an HVAC related problem occurs, the visual comparisons can help identify the problem and its source.

One device includes a memory, a user, interface, and a processor configured to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to display, in a single view on the user interface, a listing of all components of a facility controlled by a building control system, display, in an additional view on the user interface, a number of rules for mapping the components of the facility to a common model of the building control system, map the components of the facility to the common model by applying the number of rules to the components of the facility, and display, in the additional view on the user interface, the components of the facility that have been mapped to the common model.
