A method for protecting individual data elements within an unstructured dataset includes identifying a data element within the unstructured dataset requiring access control, encrypting the data element within the unstructured dataset, storing a decryption key and access control information corresponding to the dataset at an access controller, and cryptographically binding the encrypted data element to metadata that identifies the access controller. The method may additionally include detecting an access attempt to the dataset, and determining whether the access attempt is acceptable according to the access control information. If the access attempt is acceptable, the method may further include allowing the access attempt. If the access attempt is not acceptable, the method may further include denying the access attempt.

Unstructured data access control

A truth maintenance method and system. The method includes receiving by a computer processor, health event data associated with heath care records for patients. The computer processor associates portions of the health event data with associated patients and related records in a truth maintenance system database. The computer processor derives first health related assumption data and retrieves previous health related assumption data derived from and associated with previous portions of previous health event data. The computer processor executes non monotonic logic with respect to the first health related assumption data and the previous health related assumption data. In response, the computer processor generates and stores updated first updated health related assumption data associated with the first health related assumption data and the previous health related assumption data.

Data based truth maintenance

A method and system for improving deployment of a compliance cloud software component is provided. The method includes receiving application compliance requirements associated with operational requirements associated with hardware and software components. Original configuration files associated with a current hardware and software configuration for each hardware and software component are received and modified and configuration files associated with a modified hardware and software configuration for the hardware and software components are generated. A risk assessment with respect to the application compliance requirements is executed and a specified cloud infrastructure stack is enabled. A software application comprising the specified cloud infrastructure stack is generated, deployed, and executed resulting in operation of the hardware and software components.

Compliant software component infrastructure deployment

A truth maintenance method and system. The method includes receiving by a computer processor from RFID tags embedded in sensors, event data associated with events detected by said sensors. The computer processor associates portions of the event data with associated RFID tags and derives assumption data associated with each portion of the portions. The computer processor retrieves previous assumption data derived from and associated with previous portions of previous event data retrieved from the RFID tags and executes non monotonic logic with respect to the assumption data and the previous assumption data. In response, the computer processor generates and stores updated assumption data associated with the assumption data and the previous assumption data.
