An internal combustion engine, ICE, system, includes a turbocharger having a turbine and a compressor for compressing intake air and feeding the intake air to the ICE. A turbo turbine unit is disposed in an exhaust gas path downstream the turbocharger to receive exhaust gas from the turbocharger. The turbo turbine unit having a turbine wheel, a bearing housing defining an inside volume for containing lubrication oil, and a sealing arrangement positioned in the vicinity of the turbine wheel for preventing lubrication oil from escaping from the inside volume of the bearing housing to an exhaust duct of the turbo turbine unit. A buffer air conduit extends between a selected position at the compressor and a buffer air inlet of the turbo turbine unit. The buffer air inlet is in fluid communication with a buffer air channel inside the turbo turbine unit to direct buffer air to a position in-between axially opposite arranged annular sealing members to provide a counter-pressure against at least one of the annular sealing members.

Internal combustion engine system

A clamp for connecting a first component end to a second component end is provided. The clamp includes a web extending between a first end and a second end, each end being provided with a connecting device for connecting said web ends to each other so that the clamp encloses the component ends. The clamp further includes an alignment structure, which alignment structure is configured to fit with corresponding engagement structures provided at the first component end and the second component end for circumferentially positioning the clamp relative to the component ends.

Clamp

An engine structure forming an adapter for connecting a turbocharger unit to a cylinder block of an internal combustion engine includes a set of attachment arrangements for fastening the turbocharger unit to the cylinder block via the engine structure such that the engine structure is positioned in between the turbocharger unit and the cylinder block. The engine structure includes at least one fluid channel extending in a bent manner from a first surface of the engine structure to a second surface of the engine structure.

Turbocharger unit

An engine arrangement includes a first engine unit, a second engine unit and at least one member for fastening the second engine unit to the first engine unit. The first unit and the second unit include fluid ports for achieving a fluid flow between the first and second unit. The engine arrangement further includes a valve for opening and closing at least one of the fluid ports and the fastening member is moveably arranged relative to the first unit and second unit and is arranged to act on the valve.

Engine arrangement

A turbocompound unit for converting energy of an exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine to torque increase of a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine includes a turbine arrangement and an arrangement configured to operatively connecting the turbine arrangement to the crankshaft is a hydrodynamic coupling and freewheeling arrangement. The turbocompound unit further includes a brake arrangement, wherein the brake arrangement and the freewheeling arrangement are located on an opposite side of the hydrodynamic coupling in relation to the turbine arrangement.

Turbocompound unit

A turbine system for recovering energy of exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine is provided. The turbine system includes a first turbine device, a second turbine device, and a flow control valve for bypassing exhaust gases passed the second turbine device. The turbine system further includes a pneumatic valve arranged between the first turbine device and the second turbine device and being configured to control the flow of exhaust gas to the second turbine device.

Turbine system

An arrangement is provided for controlling a variable position of vanes at a turbine in a flow channel of a turbine. The arrangement includes a nozzle ring carrying a set of vanes, each of the vanes being connected to a vane pin housed in the nozzle ring. A rotational position of the vanes is accomplished via a vane displacement drive train including a pivotally supported pivot axle, a first actuator arm arranged on the pivot axle, which first arm is connectable to a drive actuator, a second actuator arm arranged on the pivot axle, which second arm is connected to a pin engaged with an unison ring for pivoting the unison ring, and a vane arm being connected to each vane pin and the unison ring for displacement of the vanes via pivotal displacement of the unison ring, and wherein a stop screw is arranged for limiting the pivotal displacement of the vanes.
