The present disclosure provides a hybrid supported metallocene catalyst useful for preparing a polyethylene copolymer exhibiting excellent process stability and high polymerization activity in ethylene polymerization, and excellent mechanical properties by high comonomer incorporation. The present disclosure provides a hybrid supported metallocene catalyst useful for preparing a polyethylene copolymer capable of producing an mLLDPE shrink film having excellent shrinkage and processability with excellent mechanical properties, and a process for preparing a polyethylene copolymer using the same. A catalyst composition, a method of preparing a polyolefin including the same, and a polyolefin prepared from the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a catalyst composition comprises a first transition metal compound represented by Chemical Formula 1, and a second transition metal compound represented by Chemical Formula 2, wherein a molar ratio of the first transition compound to the second transition metal compound ranges from 1:0.3 to 1:3.5. The catalyst composition is capable of preparing a polyolefin having excellent mechanical stability, while exhibiting excellent process stability and high polymerization activity during the preparation of a polyolefin in a slurry process.

Catalyst composition and method for preparing polyolefin using the same

The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a supported hybrid metallocene catalyst, and the catalyst is prepared by supporting a first metallocene compound, supporting a cocatalyst by a separate-input method in which primarily adding a part at 100&#xb0; C. to 150&#xb0; C. and secondarily adding the rest at &#x2212;5&#xb0; C. to 40&#xb0; C., and then supporting a second metallocene compound, thereby improving a supporting rate of the cocatalyst in the supported catalyst and maintaining high catalytic activity. Therefore, the present disclosure can effectively prepare a polyolefin with improved processability which exhibits increased molecular weight distribution while having high morphology (reduced fine powder), high bulk density and improved settling efficiency.
