An electronic device includes a panel having a working area and a peripheral area, signal lines, sub-pixels, bio-sensor units, a first switch unit and a second switch unit. The signal lines are disposed on the panel and have a first signal line and a second signal line. The sub-pixels and the bio-sensor units are disposed in the working area. The sub-pixels have a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The bio-sensor units have a first bio-sensor unit which is electrically connected to the first signal line. The first switch unit and the second switch unit are disposed in the peripheral area and respectively electrically connected to the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel through the first signal line and the second signal line. A first time period that the first switch unit is turned on is longer than a second time period that the second switch unit is turned on.

Electronic device

An electronic device includes a panel. The panel includes a plurality of scan electrodes, a plurality of data electrodes and a cholesteric liquid crystal layer. The plurality of data electrodes and the plurality of scan electrodes are intersected with each other to define a plurality of pixels. The cholesteric liquid crystal layer is disposed between the plurality of scan electrodes and the plurality of data electrodes. In a writing mode, a first voltage difference is applied to at least one pixel disposed in a writing area, and a second voltage difference is applied to at least a portion of the other pixels disposed in a non-writing area. In an erasing mode, a third voltage difference is applied to at least one pixel disposed in an erasing area, where the first voltage difference is different from the second voltage difference, and the first voltage difference is different from the third voltage difference.

An electronic device has a narrow viewing angle state and a wide viewing angle state, and includes a panel and a light source providing a light passing through the panel. In the narrow viewing angle state, the light has a first relative light intensity and a second relative light intensity. The first relative light intensity is the strongest light intensity, the second relative light intensity is 50% of the strongest light intensity, the first relative light intensity corresponds to an angle of 0°, the second relative light intensity corresponds to a half-value angle, and the half-value angle is between −15° and 15°. In the narrow angle state, a third relative light intensity at each angle between 20° and 60° or each angle between −20° and −60° is lower than 20% of the strongest light intensity.

An electronic device includes a first insulating layer, a first conductive portion, a second conductive portion, a transistor, and an electronic unit. The first insulating layer has a first opening penetrating the first insulating layer along a first direction. The first conductive portion is disposed in the first opening. The second conductive portion is electrically connected to the first conductive portion. The transistor is electrically connected to the second conductive portion. The electronic unit is electrically connected to the first conductive portion. In a cross-sectional view of the electronic device, the electronic unit and the second conductive portion are disposed on two opposite sides of the first insulating layer respectively, the first conductive portion has a first length along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the second conductive portion has a second length along the second direction, and the first length is different from the second length.

The present disclosure provides an electronic device including a first sensing unit, a first transistor coupled to the first sensing unit, a second transistor coupled to the first transistor, a second sensing unit, a third transistor coupled to the second sensing unit, a fourth transistor coupled to the third transistor, a first signal line coupled to the second transistor and the fourth transistor, and a power line coupled to the first transistor and the third transistor, in which the power line is disposed between the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit.

An electronic device including a first light emitting unit, a second light emitting unit, a first optical layer and a second optical layer is disclosed. The first light emitting unit emits a first light. The second light emitting unit emits a second light. At least one of the first light and the second light passes through the first optical layer. The second optical layer is overlapped with the first optical layer. The second optical layer is configured to scatter the first light emitted from the first light emitting unit. When the first light emitting unit emits the first light, the second light emitting unit selectively emits the second light.

A display device includes a backlight module and a display panel. The display panel is disposed on the backlight module and includes two substrates, a sensor, and a light-shielding element. The sensor is disposed between the two substrates. The light-shielding element at least partially surrounds the sensor. A height of the light-shielding element is greater than a height of the sensor.

An electronic device includes a signal readout line and a sensor component electrically connected to the signal readout line. The sensor component includes a pixel sensor and a sensor pad. The pixel sensor includes a first transistor, a first capacitor and a second transistor. The first transistor includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a first control terminal. The first capacitor is electrically connected to the first control terminal and the second terminal. The second transistor includes a third terminal, a fourth terminal and a second control terminal. The fourth terminal is electrically connected to the signal readout line. The sensor pad is electrically connected to the second terminal. The pixel sensor includes a third transistor including a fifth terminal, a sixth terminal and a third control terminal. The third control terminal is electrically connected to the second terminal. The sixth terminal is electrically connected to the third terminal.

The present disclosure provides an electronic device including a first sensing circuit, a second sensing circuit and a power line. The first sensing circuit includes a first sensing unit and a first transistor, and a first end of the first sensing unit is coupled to a control end of the first transistor. The second sensing circuit includes a second sensing unit and a second transistor, and a first end of the second sensing unit is coupled to a control end of the second transistor. A first end of the first transistor and a first end of the second transistor are coupled to the power line.

A display device including a first light emitting unit, a second light emitting unit, a first optical layer and a second optical layer is disclosed. The first optical layer is disposed on at least one of the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit, and the first optical layer includes a collimating layer. The second optical layer is disposed on the first light emitting unit. The second optical layer is configured to scatter a first light emitted from the first light emitting unit but does not scatter a second light emitted from the second light emitting unit.

Display device

A touch display device is provided in this disclosure. The touch display device includes a substrate, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, a stacked structure, an inorganic light emitting unit, and a touch sensing circuit. The first conductive layer is disposed on the substrate. The first conductive layer includes a gate electrode. The second conductive layer is disposed on the first conductive layer. The second conductive layer includes a source electrode and a drain electrode. The stacked structure is disposed on the substrate. The stacked structure includes a conductive channel and a sensing electrode. The inorganic light emitting unit is disposed on the stacked structure. The inorganic light emitting unit is electrically connected with the drain electrode via the conductive channel. The touch sensing circuit is electrically connected with the sensing electrode.

Touch display device

An electronic device which has a narrow viewing angle state and a wide viewing angle state includes a diffuser layer, a panel and a light source. The panel is disposed on the diffuser layer. The light source provides a light passing through the panel. In the narrow viewing angle state, the light has a first relative light intensity and a second relative light intensity. The first relative light intensity is the strongest light intensity, and the second relative light intensity is 50% of the strongest light intensity. The first relative light intensity corresponds to an angle of 0°, the second relative light intensity corresponds to a half-value angle, and the half-value angle is between −15° and 15°.

Sensing pixels each store a sensing voltage level. A method for driving the plurality of sensing pixels includes providing a plurality of readout scan signals to the plurality of sensing pixels, and providing a plurality of reset scan signals to the plurality of sensing pixels. One of the plurality of readout scan signals enables one of the plurality of sensing pixels to output the sensing voltage level stored in the one of the plurality of sensing pixels. One of plurality of reset scan signals resets the sensing voltage level stored in one of the plurality of sensing pixels. An nreset scan signal of the plurality of reset scan signals is started behind an nreadout scan signal of the plurality of readout scan signals in time domain.

Sensing device and method for driving sensing pixels

A backlight module and a display device using the same are disclosed. The backlight module includes at least one first light emitting unit, at least one second light emitting unit, a first optical layer and a second optical layer. The first light emitting unit emits a first light, and the second light emitting unit emits a second light. The first optical layer is disposed on a light exiting side of the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit, and the first optical layer collimates the first light and the second light. The second optical layer is disposed on a light exiting side of the first optical layer, and the second optical layer scatters the first light but does not scatter the second light.
