Disclosed herein are a novel polymer, a thermosensitive carrier prepared using the same and use thereof. The novel polymer is essentially composed of a PEO-PPO-PEO block copolymer and silane.

Polymer, thermosensitive carrier and use thereof

An electrical connector includes an electrically insulative holder member, a signal module formed of a circuit board with longitudinal terminal holes, circuit lines, electrical contacts and via-holes, metal contact terminals and metal mounting terminals, and a metal shield. The metal contact terminals have rear soldering end portions thereof soldered to respective circuit lines, an extension arm forwardly extended from the rear soldering end portion along one longitudinal terminal hole, a turn portion extended from the extension arm and curved into the associating longitudinal terminal hole to enhance vertical deformation stroke of the respective metal contact terminal, a front contact portion suspending below the associating longitudinal terminal hole, and an oblique spring arm connected between the turn portion and the front contact portion to flexibly support the front contact portion.

Electrical connector with specially designed metal contact terminals to avoid solder-off

An electrical connector includes an electrically insulative holder member, a signal module formed of a circuit board with longitudinal terminal holes, circuit lines, electrical contacts and via-holes, metal contact terminals and metal mounting terminals, and a metal shield. The metal contact terminals have rear soldering end portions thereof respectively soldered to respective circuit lines, front contact portions thereof positioned in front ends of the longitudinal terminal holes of the circuit board and middle suspension arms thereof connected between the rear soldering end portions and the front contact portions and suspending below the longitudinal terminal holes. The electrical contacts of the circuit board are positioned in respective bottom contact holes of the tongue plate. The circuit lines electrically connect the electrical contacts and the metal contact terminals to the via-holes. The surface area of each circuit line may be modified to adjust impedance, reducing interference.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an electrically insulative holder member, a signal module formed of a circuit board with recessed holes, circuit lines, electrical contacts and via-holes and metal contact terminals and metal mounting terminals, and a metal shield. The metal contact terminals have rear soldering end portions thereof respectively soldered to respective circuit lines, front contact portions thereof positioned in front ends of the recessed holes of the circuit board and middle suspension arms thereof connected between the rear soldering end portions and the front contact portions below the recessed holes and elastically deformable to prevent damage. The circuit lines electrically connect the 5 pcs of electrical contacts and the 4 pcs of metal contact terminals to the 9 pcs of via-holes. The surface area of each circuit line may be modified to adjust impedance for reducing interference.

A stacked multi-port connector includes a holder member defining multiple rows of mating slots at different elevations, and an electrical module, which includes terminal blocks accommodated in the holder member and holding mating terminals in the mating slots, filter modules electrically coupled with the mating terminal and respectively attached to the terminal blocks, plate members respectively attached to the filter modules and holding therein conducting terminals, that are electrically coupled with light-emitting devices of a light-emitting module at the top side of the holder member, and metal shielding members respectively attached to the plate members between the conducting terminals and the circuit boards of the filter modules to protect signal transmission through the mating terminals from electromagnetic interference.

Stacked multi-port connector

A chip filter and supplementary tool combination is disclosed. The chip filter includes a insulative holder base having two arrays of wire grooves arranged along two opposing sidewalls thereof and soldering zones defined in a finished surface on each sidewall corresponding to the wire grooves, connection terminals each having a base portion respectively embedded in the soldering zones in the sidewalls of the insulative holder base and a soldering surface respectively kept in flush with the top edge of the associating sidewall, and filter elements having lead wires thereof respectively extending out of the insulative holder base through the wire grooves and respectively rested on the soldering surfaces of the connection terminals and held down in position by the supplementary tool for soldering by an automatic soldering machine.

Chip filter and the related supplementary tool

A USB connector includes an connector body holding first and second conducting terminals on top and bottom sides of a tongue plate of a first connection port thereof, a bottom positioning member located on the bottom side of the first connection port, an adapter board having first contacts located on the front side for the bonding of rear bonding portions of the first and second conducting terminals and first metal pads located on the rear side thereof for the bonding of the bonding portions of adapter terminals and electronic components electrically connected between the first contacts and the first metal pads, and a rear cover fastened to the rear side of the first connection port and the top side of the bottom positioning member to shield the first and second conducting terminals and the adapter terminals.

USB connector

A network connector includes an electrically insulative housing accommodating an output circuit board and an input circuit board, output terminals and input terminals respectively and electrically bonded to the output circuit board and the input circuit board, a filter capacitor electrically connected between the input circuit board and the output circuit board, an electrically insulative partition block mounted in the electrically insulative housing to keep the filter capacitor away from the input circuit board and the output circuit board and to avoid accidental electrical sparks between the input terminals and the filter capacitor, and a filter module having filter coils electrically bonded to the surface contacts at the output circuit board and the input circuit board by surface mount technology.

Network connector

A connector insertion sensing structure includes an electrically insulative housing having an insertion hole for the insertion of an external modular plug and a vertical front mounting groove located on the front wall at one lateral side of the insertion, a metal sensing terminal mounted in the vertical front mounting groove and having a contact portion suspending in the insertion hole and a bottom bonding tip for bonding to an external circuit board, and a metal shield surrounding the electrically insulative housing and having a metal actuation terminal backwardly extended from the front panel thereof and suspending in the insertion hole and movable by an inserted external modular plug to press a pressure tip thereof on the contact portion of the metal terminal in producing a signal indicative of the insertion of the external modular plug.

Connector insertion sensing structure

A USB connector includes an electrically insulative housing having a first connection member holding a first terminal set and a second connection member holding a second terminal set, the first and second terminal set each include fixed terminals and springy terminals arranged in four rows, the rear bonding end pieces of the fixed terminals and the springy terminals being respectively bonded to eighteen through holes of a circuit board that are arranged in four rows in such a manner that the first row and the last row each include five through holes and the other two rows each include four through holes; the rear bonding end pieces of the fixed terminals of the second terminal set being disposed in front of the rear bonding end pieces of the springy terminals of the second terminal set.

A USB connector includes an electrically insulative housing, which has an exposed space area defined in the bottom wall of a tongue plate at the front side of an upper base member thereof and terminal grooves formed in the bottom wall of the tongue plate, first metal terminals embedded in the upper base member and the tongue plate each having a contact end positioned in a respective locating groove in the exposed space area and a bonding end extended out of the upper base member for bonding, and second metal terminals each having a base portion respectively upwardly forced into the terminal grooves in direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of a matching plug and a front contact end suspending outside the terminal grooves and a rear bonding end extended out of the rear side of the upper base member for bonding.

A high stability and EMI protective female USB connector is disclosed to include an electrically insulative base member, which holds a set of first metal terminals in a top abutment portion thereof and has two locating blocks at two sides of the top abutment portion, an insulative tongue plate, which holds a set of second metal terminals and has a bottom accommodation space that accommodates the top abutment portion of the insulative base member and two hook blocks disposed at two sides and respectively hooked up with the locating blocks of the insulative base member, an insulative terminal holder block fastened to the rear side of the insulative base member to hold the rear bonding portions of the first and second metal terminals in an array, and a metal shielding shell surrounding the insulative base member and the insulative tongue plate for grounding to provide excellent EMI protection.

Female USB connector

An audio jack assembly includes an electrically insulative housing that has plug holes for the insertion of a respective audio plug and multiple sets of terminal slots corresponding to the plug holes, terminal sets respectively mounted in the terminal slots, each terminal set including a grounding terminal, two signal terminals and two switching terminals, each terminal having a base for mounting, a spring arm and/or a retaining portion, and a locating block fastened to the back side of the housing to hold multiple leads in vertical lead grooves thereof, the leads having a top end press-fitted into engagement with the retaining portion of one terminal and a bottom end for bonding to an external motherboard beneath the housing and the locating block.
