A prognostic and health management system for precision ball grinding machines includes: a detector connected to a first and a second grinding discs; and a central processing module including a determining unit, a historical data recording unit, a timing unit, and an alarm unit. The detector is connected to the determining unit, detects data of the two grinding discs, and sends the data to the determining unit, the determining unit compares data in the historical data recording unit to determine whether the first and second grinding discs are abnormal, if there is an abnormality, the alarm unit releases a warning signal, if the determining unit determines that there is no abnormality, the timing unit records a grinding time of the first and second grinding discs, and based on a comparison of the past records, the alarm unit releases a warning signal after a predetermined time has elapsed.

Prognostic and health management system for precision ball grinding machines

A method for confirming cutting tool's location includes: a position calculation unit basing on plural sleeve positions in a tool magazine to train and obtain training posture data and training signal strength data of each the sleeve position; and the position calculation unit sending a tool call command to move a target cutting tool among the cutting tool to a tool exchange position. The latter step includes: obtaining a posture data and a signal strength data of the target cutting tool; based on the posture data and the signal strength data, the position calculation unit comparing the training posture data and the training signal strength data to confirm a target sleeve location of the target cutting tool; and, rotating the tool magazine to move the target cutting tool from the target sleeve location to the tool exchange position. In addition, a machine system using the method is also provided.

The disclosure is related to a clamp-type measuring device includes a clamp and an interval measuring module. The clamp includes a guiding rail and two holding arm. Each of holding arms includes a guide part, a connecting part, and a clamping part. The guide part is movably furnished on the guiding rail. Both ends of the connecting part are respectively connected to the guide part and the clamping part. The interval measuring module includes a first measuring element and a second measuring element. The first measuring element and the second measuring element are furnished on the two connecting parts respectively. The first measuring element and the second measuring element are slidable through the two guide parts respectively in order to measure an interval between the two clamping parts. In addition, the disclosure is also related to a measuring method of the clamp-type measuring device.

A rotating sensing device includes a base, a rotating element, at least one magnetic element set, at least one magnetic sensing element set, and a processing unit. The magnetic element set is arranged on the rotating element and includes an axial magnetic element and a radial magnetic element. The magnetic sensing element set is arranged on the base and includes an axial magnetic sensing element and a radial magnetic sensing element. When the rotating element is rotated relatively to the base, a magnetic variation relative to the axial magnetic element and a magnetic variation relative to the radial magnetic element are respectively sensed by the axial magnetic sensing element and the radial magnetic sensing element, so as to generate a sensing signal. The processing unit is adapted to obtain a rotation speed, a loading value, and a deflection value. In addition, a rotating sensing method is also provided.

A clamping and positioning device includes a base, a rotary member, a moving assembly and an elastic member. The rotary member is rotatably disposed on the base and includes a stopping surface facing the base. The moving assembly includes a moving member movably disposed on the base to have a first and a second position. When being at the first position, the moving member is pressed against the rotary member to allow the stopping surface to apply a normal force to the base; when being at the second position, a gap is formed between the moving member and the rotary member so the normal force applied by the stopping surface of the rotary member is released from the base. The elastic member has two ends connected to the base and the moving member, respectively. The elastic member normally causes the moving member to be at the first position.

Clamping and positioning device and operation method thereof

A hydrostatic bearing assembly for a shaft is disclosed, which consists of a base ring, two side rings enclosed up the base ring at both sides, and a plurality of hydrostatic blocks fixed respectively on surfaces of the base ring and of the side rings corresponded to the shaft, as result to hold the shaft to resist against loadings from the axial direction and/or the radial direction and provide lubrication through oil passages inside. These hydrostatic blocks are locked with screws or bolts on the base ring and on the side rings in order to be replaced individually on site.
