A substrate assembly including a first substrate, a second substrate, a sealant, and a blocking structure is provided. The first substrate has an active area. The sealant is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The sealant assembles the first substrate and the second substrate and separates the first substrate and the second substrate in a cell gap to define a space, wherein the sealant has an injection opening. The blocking structure is disposed on the first substrate and located outside the active area. A distance from the blocking structure to the second substrate is smaller than the cell gap, wherein the blocking structure divides the space into a first area and a second area. The injection opening is merely located inside the first area and the active area is merely located inside the second area.

Substrate assembly and liquid crystal display panel

A photo sensing module is provided on a first substrate and includes a photo sensing device and a protection wiring. A gap exists between the photo sensing module and an external circuit, and the photo sensing device is provided on the first substrate. The protection wiring is electrically-conductive and located between the external circuit and at least a portion of the photo sensing device.

A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes a first thin film transistor and a second thin film transistor, a reflective sheet, and a storage capacitor. The channel width/length ratio of the first thin film transistor and the channel width/length ratio of the second thin film transistor are both larger than 12/5. The reflective sheet is disposed adjacent to the first thin film transistor and the second thin film transistor to reflect ambient light. The storage capacitor is formed at a position overlapping the reflective sheet and has a capacitance of larger than 1 pF.

Power-saving driving method for liquid crystal display device

A touch-sensitive display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, an active pixel matrix, many driving circuits, many sensing electrodes and many color filter layers is provided. The active pixel matrix includes many pixels. The second substrate has a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface faces the active pixel matrix. The driving circuits are corresponding to the edges of the pixels for forming many openings. Each driving circuit includes a first main line and a second main line. The first main line has a first end connected to the active pixel matrix and a second end connected to the first substrate. The second main line is connected to the second end of the first main line through the first substrate. The color filter layers are filled in the openings. The sensing electrodes and the driving circuits are used for detecting at least one touch point.
