A card edge connector includes: an insulating housing defining a card slot opening forwards through a front face thereof; plural terminals retained in the insulating housing and including contacting portions extending into the card slot and soldering portions exposed upon a bottom face of the housing; and a metal shell at least partially covering the insulating housing, wherein the metal shell including a flat plate and a pair of side plates bending downwards from the flat plate, and the flat plate is at least partially embedded in the insulating housing and located proximate to a top face.

A method for making a micro LED display panel not requiring high-accuracy or individual positioning includes providing a carrier substrate with micro LEDs, providing a TFT substrate including a driving circuit, and forming a conductive connecting element, an insulating layer, and a contact electrode layer on the TFT substrate. The insulating layer and the contact electrode layer are patterned to define a through hole, the first electrode is placed against the contact electrode layer, and different voltages Vref and Vdd are applied to the contact electrode layer and to the conductive connecting element respectively, creating an electrostatic attraction. The micro LEDs and the first electrode are transferred from the carrier substrate onto the TFT substrate; and the conductive connecting element is bonded to the first electrode. The method of making is simple. A micro LED display panel made by the method is also provided.

A micro LED display panel defines a display area and a border area surrounding the display area. The micro LED display panel includes a TFT array substrate, a plurality of micro LEDs on the TFT array substrate, a common electrode on the TFT array substrate, the common electrode covering and electrically coupling to all of the micro LEDs; a metal layer on a side of the common electrode away from the TFT array substrate and electrically coupling to the common electrode, and a black photoresist layer on a side of the metal layer away from the TFT array substrate. The black photoresist layer defines through holes. Each through hole extends through both the black photoresist layer and the metal layer and aligns with one micro LED. The metal layer and the black photoresist layer cover the display area and the border area.

A display brightness adjusting method includes detecting a brightness of individual pixel regions of a display apparatus to acquire grayscale values. The brightness distribution information is analyzed to acquire a first compensation value to be applied to each pixel region and a first gamma voltage based on the first compensation value is calculated and applied. The uniformity of brightness of each pixel region is improved.

A pixel driving circuit for driving a pixel unit comprises a light emitting element, an initial transistor, a drive transistor with a first gate electrode and a second gate electrode, a control transistor, a resetting transistor, a first storage capacitor, and a second storage capacitor. A gate electrode of the second initial transistor receives the second control signal, a source electrode of the second initial transistor is electrically connected to an anode of the light emitting element, and a drain electrode of the second initial transistor is electrically connected to a source electrode of the drive transistor.

A pixel driving circuit for driving a pixel unit comprises a light emitting element, a first initiating transistor, a drive transistor with a first gate electrode and a second gate electrode, a controlling transistor, a resetting transistor, a second initiating transistor, a first storage capacitor, and a second storage capacitor. A gate electrode of the second initiating transistor receives the second control signal, a source electrode of the second initiating transistor is electrically connected to an anode of the light emitting element, and a drain electrode of the second initiating transistor is electrically connected to a source electrode of the second initiating transistor. The second initiating transistor controls the second storage capacitor to discharge through the light emitting element and resets the anode of the light emitting element.

A TFT substrate for a display panel includes a substrate, a plurality of first scanning lines and a plurality of data lines thereon. A conductive layer is applied above the first scanning lines and at least one electrically insulating layer between the plurality of first scanning lines and the conductive layer. A touch sensing layer is placed above the conductive layer. The conductive layer forms a plurality of second scanning lines and a plurality of touch traces. Each touch trace is electrically coupled to the touch sensing layer. Each second scanning line is electrically coupled to one first scanning line by extending through the at least one electrically insulating layer.
