A buckle assembly is formed by a male portion, a female portion and a rotor. The male portion has a base body, and at least one locking leg having a first latching element. The female portion has a base body with an interior cavity and at least one guide slot. The rotor is seated in the interior cavity and has an actuation surface, a second latching element for engagement with the first latching element, and an actuating mechanism that orients the rotor in a locked position in a resting state of the buckle assembly. The male portion is locked to the female portion by inserting the locking leg into guide slot until the first latching element engages the second latching element. The male portion is released from the female portion by pressing the actuation surface to rotate the rotor until the latching elements are disengaged from each other.

Buckle with rotor cylinder

A buckle assembly formed of a male buckle portion and a female buckle portion. The female buckle portion has a top wall, a bottom wall, side walls, and a cavity between the top wall and the bottom wall and a locking slot in each of the side walls. The male buckle portion has a base, two locking legs and two intermediate legs between the locking legs. The locking legs extend through the locking slots in the female portion, and locking pawls at the end of the locking legs engage the edges of the locking slots to secure the buckle portions together. The free ends of the locking legs are connected to the free ends of the intermediate legs by a retaining member, so that forces acting on the locking legs are transferred to the intermediate legs by the retaining members.

Buckle assembly

A system for attachment to webbing has an attachment portion and an operating portion that can be attached to and detached from each other. The attachment portion has a base body with a cavity, a transverse bar, and two locking hooks. The operating portion has two side legs, top sections connected to the side legs, a gap between the top sections and a locking hook on each of the top sections. The operating portion is connectable to the attachment portion by pressing the legs together and inserting the locking hooks of the operating portion into the base body, and then releasing the legs so that the locking hooks of the attachment portion and operating portion engage each other. The operating portion is detachable from the attachment portion by squeezing the legs together until the locking hooks on the operating portion clear the locking hooks on the attachment portion.

Attachment system with quick release

A buckle portion has a buckle body, at least one elastic locking leg connected to the buckle body, and a locking element comprising a plate having an actuation element. The locking element is connected to the elastic locking leg and is movable relative to the elastic locking leg by moving the actuation element between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the unlocked position, the elastic locking leg is movable so as to release the buckle portion from a corresponding buckle receptacle. In the locked position, the locking element prevents flexing of the elastic locking leg even under external pressure to keep the buckle portion from being released.
