A gear assembly for securing an adapter card in a computer chassis includes a guide rail receiver, a gear system, and a lever. The guide rail receiver is configured to receive a guide rail coupled to an adapter card module for docking an adapter card to an electrical connector to a motherboard. The gear system is coupled to the guide rail. The lever is coupled to the gear system. The lever includes an open position to allow the adapter card module to be inserted and removed from the computer chassis, and a closed position to dock an adapter card to the electrical connector.

Mechanism for securing and docking an adapter card in a computer chassis

A hot swappable fan module includes an outer frame, a cooling fan, a fixing element, and a light guide assembly. The cooling fan is located on one side of the outer frame. The fixing element is operable to fix the outer frame and the cooling fan. The light guide assembly includes a light guide post, a first stopping portion, and a second stopping portion. The light guide post penetrates through the cooling fan and the outer frame. The first stopping portion is located on the light guide post, and abuts against one surface of the cooling fan opposite to the outer frame. The second stopping portion is arranged opposite to the first stopping portion, is light-transmittable, and is optically coupled to the light guide post, and abuts against one surface of the outer frame opposite to the cooling fan.

Computer device and hot swappable fan module thereof

A liftable and lockable fan is provided. The fan includes: a housing having a side wall; a tab mounted in the side wall, including an upwardly extending lower portion, an outwardly facing locking projection above the lower portion, and an inwardly facing surface above the outwardly facing locking projection; the tab having a first tab position in which the outwardly facing locking projection extends from the side wall and is configured to engage with an exterior locking surface, and a second tab position in which the outwardly facing locking projection is at least partially retracted into the housing; the housing having a recess above the outwardly facing locking projection; and a top cover rotatably mounted to the housing, including a handle on a first end of the cover, an arm on a second end of the cover.

Quick release fan module

A modularized server comprises a rack, a switching mechanism, and a removable electronic device. The rack comprises a first slot and a second slot. The switching mechanism is disposed on the rack. When the removable electronic device is inserted into the first slot, the removable electronic device is operable to drive the switching mechanism to a switching position. The switching mechanism at the switching position can stop another removable electronic device different from a specific design of the removable electronic device from being inserted into the second slot.

Modularized server

A component carrier can have a housing forming a receiving space configured to receive at least one component through a receiving opening. A pivotable sidewall can be coupled to the housing and transitionable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. A releasable latch coupled to the front portion of the housing capable of being secured the pivotable sidewall in the closed configuration. In the open configuration, the receiving opening is accessible. In the closed configuration, the pivotable sidewall secured to the housing by the releasable latch and the receiving opening is inaccessible.

Quick release component carrier

A biaxial rotary display module is disclosed, which includes a first casing, a rail disposed on the first casing, a rotary piece arranged in the rail, a second casing having s display panel, and two hinges. The rotary piece has a pivoting portion pivoted to the first casing, and the rotary piece is rotated in the rail. The hinges are disposed on opposite sides of the pivoting portion for connecting the second casing and the rotary piece, thereby causing the second casing able to be pivoted relative to the first casing via the two hinges and swiveled relative to the first casing via the rotary piece.

Biaxial rotary display module

A blocking device adapted in a blade server and a blade server are provided. The blade server includes a chassis and a plurality of blocking devices. The chassis includes an opening, a plurality of connecting interfaces and a plurality of convection holes. The connecting interfaces are placed in parallel to connect respective CPU blades. Each convection hole corresponds to a connecting interface. Each of the blocking devices corresponds to a convection hole and includes two blocking plates and a pushing object. The two blocking plates block the convection hole and include a hinge and a torsion spring. When a CPU blade is connected to the connecting interface, the pushing object displaces to make the two blocking plates rotate about a respective hinge to expose the convection hole. When the CPU blade is removed, the torsion springs make the two blocking plates rotate back to block the convection hole.
