A computer-implemented system includes a plurality of metrological interface devices. Each metrological interface device is in communication with a metrological sensing device configured to detect metrological data from a physical asset. The computer-implemented system also includes a portable computing device. The portable computing device is configured to a) receive a metrological data set, the metrological data set substantially representing data associated with the physical asset at a point in time, b) process the metrological data set and an asset data model into a processed metrological data set, c) upon determining, based on the processed metrological data set, a metrological variance, recalibrating the asset data model and returning to step (a), and d) upon determining no metrological variance, reporting the metrological data set and the asset data model to at least one report recipient.

Methods and systems for dynamic workflow prioritization and tasking

A system to adaptively control multimedia communication sessions includes a mediator unit in an intermediary communication position between two or more remote clients and a media infrastructure. The mediator unit includes a receiver, a transmitter and a control processor that controls the receiver and the transmitter. The mediator unit communicates remote clients across a communication network, where the first client initiates a communication session and the mediator unit assigns a unique session identifier to the communication message. Additional remote clients send join requests including the unique session identifier, and the mediator unit acts as a back-to-back user agent to pass messages between two remote clients of a two-client communication session. The control processor configured to execute predefined context-sensitive strategies including the number of remote clients in the communication session, bridging incompatible peer-to-peer communications, supporting multiple devices of a single remote client, and dynamic allocation of multipoint control unit resources.

Systems and methods for adaptive context-aware control of multimedia communication sessions

A system and method for remotely providing expert assistance receive identification information from a mobile device that is representative of a component and communicate the identification information to remotely located expert personnel. The system and method also receive an expert-identified work scope that includes guidance information for display on the mobile device to guide the operator through diagnosing, repairing, testing, and/or replacing the component. The system and method also store the expert-identified work scope and the identification information such that the expert-identified work scope is associated with the identification information. The system and method compare subsequently received identification information with the stored identification information and automatically select and communicate the expert-identified work scope based on comparing the subsequently received identification information with the stored identification information.
