Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a controller user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network node, a relay scheduling request that indicates a request to schedule access to a universal mobile telecommunications system air interface (Uu) based at least in part on relaying one or more sidelink retransmissions associated with at least a first sidelink between the controller UE and a first sidelink UE. The UE may communicate the one or more sidelink retransmissions between the controller UE and the network node based at least in part on using the Uu. Numerous other aspects are described.

Efficient scheduling of a two-hop communication link

Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating control information are provided. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) may include performing a clear channel assessment (CCA), transmitting, to a first UE based on the CCA being successful, a first transport block (TB) via a first sub-PSSCH associated with a first sub-slot, and transmitting, to at least one of the first UE or a second UE, a second TB via a PSSCH associated with a slot.

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a grant message indicating a set of sidelink resources. The method further includes transmitting multiple unicast messages via multiple subgroups of the set of sidelink resources.

Scheduling sidelink resources for multiple unicasts by a single downlink control information message

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a network entity may communicate according to the capability of the network entity to transmit wireless energy transfer (WET) signals on communications resources as well as scheduling information for WET signals. A network entity may transmit control signaling indicating the capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and scheduling information for a set of WET signals. The network entity may also transmit scheduling information for a set of uplink transmissions for the UE. The network entity may transmit the WET signals to an energy harvesting device. The UE may transmit the set of uplink transmissions based on the indicated capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and the scheduling information for the set of WET signals.

Management of uplink transmissions and wireless energy transfer signals

Some aspects described herein relate to receiving a configuration defining resources for transmitting a first message in a two-step random access procedure, wherein the first message includes a random access preamble and a payload, generating a beacon signal for transmitting as the first message, where the beacon signal includes one or more parameters to facilitate discovery by other UEs for pairing in sidelink communications, and transmitting, based on the configuration, the beacon signal as the first message over the resources.

Techniques for performing sidelink discovery in wireless communications

Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to multiplex an SCI-exclusive message with a data-exclusive message/traffic. In one aspect, a first UE multiplexes SCI with a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The first UE transmits, to a second UE, the SCI and the PSSCH in the slot. In another aspect, a second UE receives, from a first UE, SCI and a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The second UE decodes the data message based at least in part on the indication.

Multiplexing sci-exclusive messages and data-exclusive traffic on sidelinks

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink slots with multiple automatic gain control symbols. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user equipment, including enabling a slot configuration comprising at least two symbols configured for use by a receiver for automatic gain control in preconfigured symbol locations within a slot, and transmitting the at least two symbols while transmitting symbols within the slot.

In an aspect, a position estimation entity, obtains first timing information that is associated with a first time-of-arrival (TOA) measurement of a first reference signal for positioning (RS-P) as communicated between a target user equipment (UE) and a base station with a first time basis, obtains second timing information that is associated with a second TOA measurement of a second RS-P as communicated between the target UE and a reference UE associated with a known location and having a second time basis that is different than the first time basis, determines a bias between the first time basis and the second time basis, and determines a position estimate of the target UE via a time differential of arrival (TDOA) positioning technique based at least in part upon the first timing information, the second timing information, and the bias.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, an indication of a first sidelink grant associated with a first set of resources. The UE may receive, from the network entity, an indication of a second sidelink grant associated with a second set of resources, wherein the first set of resources at least partially overlaps in a time domain with the second set of resources. The UE may perform an action based at least in part on the first set of resources at least partially overlapping in the time domain with the second set of resources. The UE may transmit one or more sidelink messages using at least one of the first sidelink grant or the second sidelink grant based at least in part on performing the action. Sidelink grant collision handling

A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) and a base station. The UE receives a configuration for a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions each SPS occasion including multiple opportunities for a downlink transmission by a base station. The UE monitors for the downlink transmission during one or more opportunities of an SPS occasion. The base station transmits a packet to the UE in an opportunity of an SPS occasion based on an arrival time of the packet. In various configurations, a base station may transmit first information via a first communication opportunity and second information via a second communication opportunity of that same SPS occasion. A wireless communication device may monitor all communication opportunities of an SPS occasion to decode the information sent in two or more of the communication opportunities of the SPS occasion.

Semi-persistent scheduling opportunities for jittered periodic traffic

Positioning of one or more user equipments (UEs) is performed using broadcast common sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for positioning. The common SRS that is broadcast by a UE is received and measured by one or more base stations and one or more other UEs. The other UEs may have known positions and may server as anchor nodes for positioning. The other UEs may have known positions and may serve as a positioning (anchor) node or may have unknown positions and may be jointly positioned with the target UE. During joint positioning, each of the other UEs may similarly broadcast a common set of SRS that is received and measured by the base stations and other UEs for positioning. An angular measurement of the SRS broadcast by one or more UEs may be measured and used to resolve minor symmetry in positioning solutions.

Methods and apparatus for combined signaling for sidelink assisted positioning

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a wireless device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a base station) may transmit a set of data messages to a set of UEs, the set of data messages including one or more data messages for each UE of the set of UEs. Each UE may select a respective sequence representing feedback associated with the one or more data messages, the sequence being selected from a sequence pool that includes a first plurality of sequences representing acknowledgement feedback and a second plurality of sequences representing negative acknowledgement feedback, individual sequences of at least the second set of sequences being non-orthogonal to each other. Each UE may transmit the respective selected sequence to the wireless device via a shared set of time and frequency resources that are shared for feedback messages from the set of UEs.

Systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support mechanisms for enabling sidelink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling in a wireless communication system. In aspects, a transmitting user equipment (UE) may be configured for sidelink communication with a receiving UE, and a sidelink DMRS transmission may be determined to be transmitted from the transmitting UE to the receiving UE. In aspects, determining whether to enable bundling of the sidelink DMRS transmission from the transmitting UE to the receiving UE or not (e.g., whether to enable or to forego enabling bundling of the sidelink DMRS transmission) may be determined in accordance with various aspects of the present disclosure.
