Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for multi-carrier on-off keying communications. A method for wireless communications by an apparatus includes receiving a signal comprising multiple carrier frequencies modulated with on-off keying; decoding the signal based at least in part on a delta frequency being associated with a first carrier frequency and a second carrier frequency among the multiple carrier frequencies; and recovering data from the decoded signal.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device, a first signal for probing an energy state of the second wireless device. The first wireless device may monitor for a second, backscattered signal indicating the energy state of the second wireless device and may transmit, to the second wireless device, an indication of resources for harvesting energy based on monitoring for the second, backscattered signal. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device and over the resources, a third signal distinct from the first signal and associated with harvesting energy.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending a retransmission via a sidelink wireless communication channel. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a first data transmission. The method further includes transmitting, to the second UE, based at least in part on the signal, a second data transmission via one or more resources, the second data transmission comprising at least the portion of the first data transmission.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, scheduling information that indicates resource allocations for transmitting multiple sidelink transport blocks (TBs) and one or more receiving UEs associated with the multiple sidelink TBs. A method for wireless communication by a first wireless communication device includes receiving, from a second wireless communication device, a first plurality radio frequency (RF) signals, performing power measurements associated with the first plurality of RF signals, and transmitting, based in part on the power measurements, information indicating a waveform for the second wireless communication device to use to transmit a second plurality of RF signals to the first wireless communication device.

Techniques for load resistance signaling for wireless power transfer

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may transmit to a network entity a first signal requesting a modification of allocated resources for sidelink transmission, sidelink reception, or both based on multiple transport blocks (TBs) for communication for the UE. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a downlink control information (DCI) signal granting one or more resources to the UE for sidelink communications based on the first signal. In some cases, the DCI signal may dynamically or periodically grant one or more resources for sidelink transmission, one or more resources for sidelink reception, or both for the UE. The UE may use the granted resources to communicate multiple TBs with one or more other UEs based on the DCI signal. For example, a single DCI message may allocate resources for sidelink communication of multiple TBs.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, scheduling information scheduling one or more communications. The one or more communications may be scheduled over one or more of a sidelink, an uplink, or a downlink. The scheduling information may provide one or more of a transmission parameter for the one or more communications or a reception parameter for the one or more communications. Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a controller user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network node, a relay scheduling request that indicates a request to schedule access to a universal mobile telecommunications system air interface (Uu) based at least in part on relaying one or more sidelink retransmissions associated with at least a first sidelink between the controller UE and a first sidelink UE. The UE may communicate the one or more sidelink retransmissions between the controller UE and the network node based at least in part on using the Uu. Numerous other aspects are described.

Efficient scheduling of a two-hop communication link

Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating control information are provided. A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) may include performing a clear channel assessment (CCA), transmitting, to a first UE based on the CCA being successful, a first transport block (TB) via a first sub-PSSCH associated with a first sub-slot, and transmitting, to at least one of the first UE or a second UE, a second TB via a PSSCH associated with a slot.

Multi-transmitter scheduling using slot-based and sub-slot based physical sidelink shared channels

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a grant message indicating a set of sidelink resources. The method further includes transmitting multiple unicast messages via multiple subgroups of the set of sidelink resources.

Scheduling sidelink resources for multiple unicasts by a single downlink control information message

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a network entity may communicate according to the capability of the network entity to transmit wireless energy transfer (WET) signals on communications resources as well as scheduling information for WET signals. A network entity may transmit control signaling indicating the capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and scheduling information for a set of WET signals. The network entity may also transmit scheduling information for a set of uplink transmissions for the UE. The network entity may transmit the WET signals to an energy harvesting device. The UE may transmit the set of uplink transmissions based on the indicated capability of the network entity to support transmission of WET signals in a set of uplink resources and the scheduling information for the set of WET signals.

Management of uplink transmissions and wireless energy transfer signals

Some aspects described herein relate to receiving a configuration defining resources for transmitting a first message in a two-step random access procedure, wherein the first message includes a random access preamble and a payload, generating a beacon signal for transmitting as the first message, where the beacon signal includes one or more parameters to facilitate discovery by other UEs for pairing in sidelink communications, and transmitting, based on the configuration, the beacon signal as the first message over the resources.

Techniques for performing sidelink discovery in wireless communications

Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to multiplex an SCI-exclusive message with a data-exclusive message/traffic. In one aspect, a first UE multiplexes SCI with a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The first UE transmits, to a second UE, the SCI and the PSSCH in the slot. In another aspect, a second UE receives, from a first UE, SCI and a PSSCH in a slot, the SCI being associated with a control message and the PSSCH being associated with a data message, and the SCI including an indication that the SCI and the PSSCH are decoupled in the slot. The second UE decodes the data message based at least in part on the indication.

Multiplexing sci-exclusive messages and data-exclusive traffic on sidelinks

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink slots with multiple automatic gain control symbols. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user equipment, including enabling a slot configuration comprising at least two symbols configured for use by a receiver for automatic gain control in preconfigured symbol locations within a slot, and transmitting the at least two symbols while transmitting symbols within the slot.

In an aspect, a position estimation entity, obtains first timing information that is associated with a first time-of-arrival (TOA) measurement of a first reference signal for positioning (RS-P) as communicated between a target user equipment (UE) and a base station with a first time basis, obtains second timing information that is associated with a second TOA measurement of a second RS-P as communicated between the target UE and a reference UE associated with a known location and having a second time basis that is different than the first time basis, determines a bias between the first time basis and the second time basis, and determines a position estimate of the target UE via a time differential of arrival (TDOA) positioning technique based at least in part upon the first timing information, the second timing information, and the bias.
