A nanocomposite for the reverse storage of hydrogen based on monolayer sheets of polycrystalline or monocrystalline grapheme having a form of a cylindrical spiral roll of polycrystalline or monocrystalline graphene with a preferably constant spacing in the range from 0.2 to 2 nm, whereby the said spiral roll of polycrystalline graphene has grains with a minimum diameter of 50 nm.

A multilayer composite for reversible sorption of mercury, with a carrier core made of a metal or an alloy based on transition metals, has isolating layers of a transition metal nitride and externally located sorptive layers, made of a mixture of sulfides and nitrides of transition metals, the layers being deposited on both sides of the core. A method for sorption of mercury from a gaseous phase during an exposition of the multilayer composite to the influence of multicomponent gaseous mixtures that contain mercury vapors or compounds for a time period of 0.5 to 24 hours, while the temperature of the multilayer composite is maintained in the range from 20 to 150&#xb0; C.

A method for producing a graphene layer on a multilayered plate containing, as the graphene forming matrix, an external layer composed of a metal or a metal alloy and, as a support substrate, the transition metals and/or their alloys and/or metalloids and/or their solutions and compounds, the method involving subjecting the multilayered plate to heat treatment in the following stages: plate heating until the plate reaches a temperature that is between 0.5&#xb0; C. and 50&#xb0; C., annealing, at a constant or variable temperature from the temperature range, for a period between 60 and 600 seconds and cooling, with the cooling rate maintained between 0.1 and 2&#xb0; C./min in the temperature range of 1,200&#xb0; C.-1,050&#xb0; C.

The subject of this invention relates to method carburizing of steel products, mainly parts of machines, vehicles and every mechanical apparatus, in vacuum furnaces under reduced pressure and elevated temperature. The method of under-pressure carburizing of steel workpieces according to present invention relates to introduction of active nitrogen carrier during heating up of the load. Introduction of the active nitrogen carrier is terminated when the load reaches temperature required to start carburizing process; from this temperature the carbon carrier is added. Pressure in the furnace chamber during continuous or pulse introduction of the active nitrogen carrier should be maintained within the ranges from 1 to 500 mbar.

The subject of present invention relates to mixture for carburizing of steel products, mainly parts of machines, vehicles and every mechanical apparatus, used in vacuum furnaces. Present invention relates to mixture for under-pressure carburizing containing the carbon carrier comprising two unsaturated hydrocarbons, likely ethylene and acetylene, in volume ratio from 0.1 to 2.00. The carbon carrier can be further mixed with hydrogen or ammonia.

A hydrogen closed-cycle hardening unit is disclosed that consisting of a vacuum oven with an internal quenching and circulation system, adjusted to operate under a pressure of 2 MPa, fitted with conduits and valves for feeding and discharging of quenching atmosphere. The oven, fitted with a hydrogen and/or nitrogen inlet line and an operating gas outlet line, is connected to two conduits, between the conduits' valves, and, through these conduits, to a unit of two containers. The first container, which is connected to an external hydrogen source, contains a metal alloy absorbing hydrogen as a high-pressure hydride, while second container contains a metal alloy absorbing hydrogen as a low-pressure hydride. Both containers are connected by another conduit.
