A vapour generating device is arranged to receive solid vapour generating material. The vapour generating device includes a vapour generating chamber which is arranged to contain the solid vapour generating material and a closure for the vapour generating chamber. The closure is arranged to define a first passageway between the exterior of the vapour generating device and the vapour generating chamber when the closure is in a closed position, such that the first passageway allows air to enter the vapour generating chamber.

A heating assembly for a vapour generating device includes: a heating chamber arranged to hold an aerosol generating medium; a heater arranged, in use, to provide heating to the heating chamber; and an ejector arranged to controllably eject, in use, the aerosol generating medium from the heating chamber. A vapour generating device includes the heating assembly; and a vapour passage to carry vapour generated in the heating chamber from the heating chamber to an air outlet, wherein at least a portion of the vapour passage is formed by the ejector.

A portable aerosol-generating device for receiving an aerosol-generating substance includes a chamber arranged to receive an aerosol-generating substance and an aerosol-generating unit configured to generate an aerosol from the aerosol-generating substance for a user to inhale in use. The chamber is configured to be releasably inserted into the device through an opening in the device. The electronic cigarette further comprises a power supply assembly received in the shell, connected to the atomizing assembly, and used for supplying power for the heating element.

An atomization assembly of an inhaler includes: a liquid reservoir defining a main liquid storage chamber therein for storing liquid and an auxiliary liquid storage chamber, the liquid reservoir further defining a liquid-draining aperture between the main liquid storage chamber and the auxiliary liquid storage chamber; an atomizing core connected to the liquid reservoir; and a movable member configured to move back and forth between a first position towards the liquid-draining aperture and a second position away from the liquid-draining aperture, wherein when the movable member is in the first position, the movable member seals the liquid-draining aperture, such that the main liquid storage chamber is isolated from the auxiliary liquid storage chamber; when the movable member is in the second position, the movable member is separated from the liquid-draining aperture, thereby communicating the main liquid storage chamber with the auxiliary liquid storage chamber.

When the inhaler () is not used for a long period of time, the atomization component () can be separated from the battery component (), the movable member () blocks the liquid storage structure () and prevents the liquid in the liquid storage cavity () from being volatilized.

An electronic cigarette and a method for controlling heating and atomization of electronic cigarette are provided. The electronic cigarette includes a power supply device (), a heating element () and a control device (). An electronic cigarette and a method for assembling the electronic cigarette are provided. The electronic cigarette includes an atomizer device mounting base, at least one conductive pipe, an atomizer device, and a battery device. The conductive pipe includes a first open end, a second open end, and a partition wall disposed within the middle of the conductive pipe to separate the first open end from the second open end. The atomizer device includes a first pluggable member being inserted into and electrically connected to the first open end. The controller comprises a temperature detection module used for detecting the resistance of the heating wire and thus acquiring the actual temperature of the heating wire component. The temperature detection module presets an upper limit heating temperature and a lower limit heating temperature.
