Systems and methods are provided. A physical measurement of the core loss increase associated with a physical deformation of a material of the device is obtained. A data structure describing a model of the device is accessed. A first edge of the model of the device associated with a physical deformation of the device is identified. A finite element mesh is generated to include a single layer mesh comprising a plurality of mesh elements associated with the first edge of the finite element mesh. A core loss value is assigned to each of the plurality of mesh elements. Each of the core loss values representative of the physical measurement of the core loss increase of the material as a result of the physical deformation of the material. An electromagnetic model is generated by performing a finite element analysis based on the finite element mesh and the single layer mesh.

Core loss simulator and simulation methods

Data is received that comprises a full model for a physical object having a rotating part and a stationary part. The physical object includes fields coupled between the rotating part and the stationary part. A mesh is then generated for a portion of the physical object that includes a rotating mesh and a stationary mesh. Thereafter, a partial simulation model is created based on the full model and the mesh. Coupling relationships are established for the fields between the rotating mesh and the stationary mesh in the partial simulation model. The fields are then solved based on the coupling relationship of the partial simulation model. Thereafter, fields of the full model can be recovered based on the solved fields. Partial simulation model creation, simulation and post-processing for rotational machines

Systems and methods are provided for analyzing magnetic hysteresis of anisotropic magnetic materials. Magnetic hysteresis loops associated with a local coordinate of a coordinated system based on a magnetic field successively applied to each principal axis with an isotropic vector play model are determined. A relaxation factor associated with the convergence behaviors of estimated solution points is applied along with a correction, either a magnetic field correction or a flux density correction, to determine target points on magnetic hysteresis loops. An error between magnetic hysteresis loops and the estimated solution points is determined. The iteration process continues up to a preset number of iterations with alternating correction schemes based on the determined error.

Systems and methods for anisotropic vector hysteresis analysis

Rapid calculation of magnetostriction effects can consist of calculating a stress field and a magnetic field in a structure by determining a magnetic field on the magnetic mesh, determining a magnetostriction from the magnetic field, applying the magnetostriction to the mechanical mesh, determining a stress field on the mechanical mesh, determining an inverse magnetostriction from the stress field, applying the inverse magnetostriction to the magnetic mesh, and determining a new magnetic field on the magnetic mesh by accounting for the inverse magnetostriction. Calculations can be based on data representing a structure, including a magnetic mesh, a mechanical mesh, and a plurality of material properties. After calculation is completed, data characterizing the calculated stress field and magnetic field for the structure can be provided as output. Decoupled determination of magnetostriction and inverse magnetostriction

Systems and methods are provided for analyzing magnetic hysteresis. A reversible component associated with an applied magnetic field is determined for establishing a series-distributed model. One or more hysteresis loops are generated for analyzing magnetic hysteresis of a magnetic material.

Systems and methods for vector hysteresis analysis

Systems and methods are provided for constructing a physical system. Characteristic data associated with a physical system is received. A model of the physical system is built based on the characteristic data. A nonlinear transient simulation of the physical system is performed using the model, where the simulation is performed over a plurality of time intervals. The simulation includes segmenting the plurality of time intervals into groups of time intervals, each group containing multiple time intervals, transmitting data associated with each group of time intervals to a different solving unit, and solving each of the groups of time intervals in parallel using the different solving units. A physical characteristic is determined based on results of the simulation, where the physical system is built or modified based on the simulation-determined physical characteristic.
