A board-to-board connector assembly includes a receptacle connector and a plug connector mated with each other. The receptacle connector includes a first body, first terminals and a pair of first metal members. The first body includes an island structure and a first receiving slot surrounding the island structure. The first terminals are respectively disposed on a first side and a second side of the first receiving slot, the first and second sides being opposite to each other. The first metal members are respectively disposed on a third side and a fourth side of the first receiving slot, the third and fourth sides being opposite to each other. The first metal member includes a base extending to a bottom on the third side or a bottom on the fourth side, and a pair of first elastic arms extending from the base and facing away from each other.

An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical plug connector and an electrical receptacle connector corresponding to the electrical plug connector. The electrical plug connector includes a plug fixation housing, a plug movable housing, and plug terminals. The plug terminals are on the plug fixation housing, and the plug movable housing is floatingly arranged on the plug fixation housing. The electrical receptacle connector includes a receptacle fixation housing, a receptacle movable housing, and receptacle terminals. The receptacle terminals are on the receptacle fixation housing, and the receptacle movable housing is floatingly arranged on the receptacle fixation housing. An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical plug connector and an electrical receptacle connector. The electrical plug connector includes plug fixation members. The electrical receptacle connector includes receptacle fixation members. Through the engagement between the plug fixation member and the receptacle fixation member, upon using the electrical connector assembly, the electrical plug connector can be ensured not to detach from the electrical receptacle connector. Moreover, with simple operations of the plug fixation member and the receptacle fixation member, the electrical plug connector can be detached from the electrical receptacle connector smoothly.

A board-to-board connector assembly includes: a plug connector having: a second body having a second slot and a second sidewall; and third metal members; and a socket connector having: a first body having an island, a first slot, and a first sidewall; and first and second metal members. The first metal members are disposed in the first body and extend from a bottom of the first sidewall to the island through the first slot. The second metal members are disposed in the first body, and straddles and covers a portion of the first sidewall. The third metal members are disposed in the second body, and straddle and cover a portion of the second sidewall. When the connectors are mated, the second sidewall is inserted into the first slot, the island is inserted into the second slot, and the third metal members are pressed against the first and second metal members.

A first connector and a second connector are provided. The first connector includes an insulated body, first terminals, and fastening members. The first terminals and the fastening members are on the insulated body. The second connector includes an insulated base, second terminals, and positioning members. The second terminals and the positioning members are on the insulated base. The fastening members and the positioning members are enclosing structures covering the insulated body of the first connector and the insulated base of the second connector, respectively. The fastening members and the positioning members provide multi-point contacts.

The limiting portion leans against a corner of the accommodating recess so that the metal fittings and the body generate a two-dimensional limitation.
