Embodiments of the disclosed technologies are capable of deconstructing a graph using database management approaches. Embodiments describe receiving an event trigger associated with a first node of a graph. The event trigger includes a node identifier of the first node. The embodiments further describe generating a first query for a neighbor identifier associated with a second node of the graph using the node identifier. The neighbor identifier is queried from a first data store. Embodiments further describe generating a second query for a feature corresponding to the neighbor identifier. The feature is queried from a second data store. Embodiments further describe generating an embedding of the event trigger using the node identifier, the neighbor identifier and the feature.

Deconstructing graphs using a database management approach

Systems and methods are provided for using a user wearable device having a first radar array configured to perform elevation mapping of a three-dimensional environment and a second radar array configured to perform azimuthal mapping of the three-dimensional environment which is divided into a plurality of voxels. Based on a detected triggering condition of the radar arrays, systems and methods are provided for dynamically updating at least a sub-set of voxels of the plurality of voxels in the three-dimensional environment at a new voxel granularity configured to facilitate an improvement in a resolution of one or more features included in the three-dimensional environment.

Synthetic aperture radar for head mounted displays

A master clock signal for an image capture device and a light emission device is accessed. The master clock signal is divided to generate a high frequency clock signal. A frame timer is used to measure a frame time of the image capture device based on cycles of the high frequency clock signal. Based on an exposure timing signal from the image capture device, estimating an exposure start time for the image capture device; is estimated. Based on the estimated starting time, the light emission device begins emission of a positional tracking pattern at the estimated starting time and for a duration determined by the measured frame time of the image capture device.

LED synchronization for virtual and augmented reality devices

Examples are disclosed that relate to dynamically controlling light sources on an optically trackable peripheral device. One disclosed example provides a near-eye display device comprising an image sensor, a communications subsystem, a logic subsystem, and a storage subsystem. The storage subsystem stores instructions executable by the logic subsystem to control a peripheral device comprising a plurality of light sources by receiving image data from the image sensor, identifying in the image data a constellation of light sources formed by a subset of light sources of the peripheral device, and based upon the constellation of light sources identified, send to the peripheral device via the communications subsystem constellation information related to the constellation of light sources identified.
