A liquid crystal display panel includes a substrate and a plurality of display units. Each display unit includes a first sub-display unit and a second sub-display unit. The first sub-display unit includes a first sub-pixel unit corresponding to a first color, a second sub-pixel unit corresponding to a second color, a third sub-pixel unit corresponding to a third color, and a fourth sub-pixel unit corresponding to a fourth color. The second sub-display unit includes a fifth sub-pixel unit corresponding to the third color, a sixth sub-pixel unit corresponding to the fourth color, a seventh sub-pixel unit corresponding to the first color, and a eighth sub-pixel unit corresponding to the second color.

A calibration circuit for voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) includes a calibration bias generator, a VCO, a detection unit, a micro control unit, an adjuster unit, a phase-locked loop (PLL) unit, a control voltage detection unit, and a control switch set. The calibration bias generator outputs a first control voltage. The VCO outputs an oscillation frequency according to the first control voltage. The detection unit detects the oscillation frequency and outputs the detection result signal to the micro control unit. The micro control unit outputs an adjust signal according to the detection result signal. The adjuster unit receives the adjust signal voltage and adjusts the oscillation frequency output from the VCO according to the adjust signal voltage. The PLL unit outputs a second control voltage to the VCO. The control voltage detection unit outputs voltage-detection signal to the micro control unit, which outputs the adjust signal according to the voltage-detection signal.

Calibration circuit and operation method for voltage-controlled oscillator

A modulation method and a modulation apparatus in a phase-locked loop (PLL) provided. The modulation apparatus comprises a modulator, a crystal oscillator, a controllable R-divisor frequency divider, a controllable N-divisor frequency divider and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). The crystal oscillator generates a fixed frequency oscillating signal. The controllable R-divisor frequency divider receives the oscillating signal from the crystal oscillator and divides the frequency by R. The VCO generates a frequency signal based on a voltage-controlled signal provided by the PLL and feedbacks the frequency signal to the controllable N-divisor frequency divider. The controller N-divisor frequency divider receives a feedback frequency from the VCO and divides the frequency by N. A PLL unit used to compare a frequency provided by the crystal oscillator and passed through the controllable R-divisor frequency divider, with a frequency provided by the VCO and passed through the controllable N-divisor frequency divider, for performing a phase-locked operation.
