In one aspect of the present invention, an LCD includes a front frame having a flange and a rear cover having a flange defining a housing therebetween, a liquid crystal (LC) panel placed in the housing, a backlight positioned between the LC panel and the rear cover, and a backlight frame having a first engaging structure configured to receive the flanges of the front frame and the rear cover, and a second engaging structure configured to retain the backlight and the LC panel in the housing.

Liquid crystal display with backlight frame structure

A display device including a control module, a plastic rear cover, a display panel, a buffer element and a plastic front cover is provided. The plastic rear cover includes a plurality of supporting ribs protruded from an inner surface of the plastic rear cover. An outer surface of the plastic rear cover has a receiving portion, in which the control module is received. The display panel includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and the first surface is disposed in accordance with the inner surface of the plastic rear cover. The buffer element is leant against the second surface. The plastic front cover has a display opening used for exposing a part of the second surface, and is leant against the buffer element.

Display device

A backlight module and a method for manufacturing a base thereof are provided. The backlight module base includes a back plate and a frame. The back plate has a plate body and at least one sidewall, which includes a wall body and a folding structure bending from the top of the wall body. The folding structure, the plate body, and the wall body together enclose a groove. The frame is formed on the plate body and adjacent to an inner surface of the sidewall. A part of the frame is embedded into the groove. The engagement between the frame and the groove increases the contact area between the frame and the back plate to improve the connection strength. In addition, the folding design of the sidewall increases the rigidity of the whole structure.
