A light source module including a light guide plate, a first light-emitting device and a second light-emitting device is provided. The light guide plate has a first surface, a second surface and a light incident surface. The light incident surface includes a first and second light incident sub-surfaces and a first end, wherein the second light incident sub-surface is oblique relative to the first light incident sub-surface. The first light-emitting device is disposed beside the first light incident sub-surface, and the second light-emitting device is disposed beside the second light incident sub-surface. The light guide plate has a visual area, and the visual area has a first corner located beside the first end, a light-emitting range of the second light-emitting device covers the first corner, and the second light incident sub-surface is located between the first end and the first light incident sub-surface.

Light source module

A reflective sheet includes a first reflective layer and a second reflective layer. The first reflective layer has a first index of refraction, and the second reflective layer has a second index of refraction. The first reflective layer and the second reflective layer are in contact with each other to form a contact interface, and the first index of refraction is different from the second index of refraction so as to make the contact interface be a reflective surface. A top surface of the first reflective layer opposite the contact interface serves as a light incident surface for the reflective sheet, the reflectance of the first reflective layer is larger than the reflectance of the second reflective layer, and the mechanical strength of the second reflective layer is larger than the mechanical strength of the first reflective layer.

A backlight module includes a light guide plate, micro-structures, at least one light source, and a first prism sheet. The light guide plate includes a first surface, a second surface, and a light incident surface connecting the first surface and the second surface. The micro-structures are disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The light source is disposed beside the light incident surface and capable of emitting a light beam. The first prism sheet includes a first transparent substrate and first prism structures. The first surface is located between the second surface and the first transparent substrate. The first transparent substrate is disposed among the first surface and the first prism structures. Each first prism structure has a first vertex angle protruding away from the first transparent substrate, and the first vertex angle falls within a range of 67 degrees to 83 degrees.

Backlight module

A backlight module includes a light guide plate and a light source. The light guide plate includes a first end portion, a second end portion, a middle portion between the first and second end portions, a top face extending from the first end portion to the second end portion, a bottom face extending from the first end portion to the second end portion, a light entrance face interconnecting the top and bottom faces at the first end portion, and a plurality of prismatic strips formed on the bottom face. The prismatic strips have a lower density at the first end portion as compared to the middle portion. The density is defined as a total length of the prismatic strips per unit area of the bottom face. The light source is disposed adjacent to the light entrance face.

A backlight module including a light source, a light guide plate, a lamp reflector and a frame is provided. The light source is disposed at a first side of the light guide plate, and surrounded by the lamp reflector and the light guide plate. The lamp reflector includes a metal substrate and a reflective material layer, and the metal substrate includes a main body and an extended part. The extended part is connected to the main body and disposed under the light guide plate. The reflective material layer is disposed on the main body, and between the main body and the light source, and the light source is surrounded by the reflective material layer and the light guide plate. The light guide and the lamp reflector are disposed on the frame. The backlight module has a better heat dissipation efficiency and lower manufacturing cost.

A backlight module housing includes a frame forming a holding space, a light source being accommodated on a side of the holding space, and at least one lateral alignment structure connected to the side of the frame accommodating the light source and protruding to the holding space for laterally immobilizing a display panel when the display panel is accommodated inside the holding space of the frame.

Backlight module housing and liquid crystal display device

A backlight module includes a planar light plate with planar illumination for providing a planar light, the backlight module further including a light plate base and at least one side retaining frames that can be assembled/detached. The light plate base is disposed on one side under the light plate, and two opposite sides thereof extend upward to form two side frames for retaining two opposite sides of the light plate. The side retaining frame is sleeved on the lateral side of the opening end of the light plate base, for retaining the light plate in the light plate base.

A back light apparatus comprises a base having a container, a lamp module, a diffuser, and at least one elastic device. The inside surface of the base are coated a reflection layers. The lamp module consists of CCFLs disposed in the container. One end of the elastic element is fixed on the bottom surface of the container; the other end supports the diffuser. The elastic device reduces the deformation of the diffuser to avoid forming the uneven surface on the diffuser. That is, it can provide the high and even brightness for a liquid crystal display panel.
