It has now been found that certain novel heterocyclic derivitives have provided unexpected insecticidal activity. These compounds are represented by formula (I): R Preferred are those compounds of formula (I) where Rand R3 taken together is &#x2550;NCH(R)CH(R)N(R)&#x2014;, &#x2550;NC(R6)&#x2550;C(R7)N(R8)&#x2014;, or &#x2550;CHN&#x2550;C(R)N(R)&#x2014;, and tautomers thereof, and where Rand Rtaken together is &#x2014;C(R11)&#x2550;C(R12)C(R13)&#x2550;C(R14) 1 12, -, where R,R,R6, R7, R8, RI1, R R13, R14, and X are described. In addition, compositions comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one compound of formula (I), and optionally, an effective amount of at least one of a second compound with at least one insecticidally compatable carrier are also disclosed; along with methods of controlling insects comprising applying said compositions to a locus where insects are present or are expected to be present. 

Pesticidal heterocycles

It has now been found that certain novel N-(substituted aryl)-4-(disubstituted methyl)piperidine and pyridine derivatives have provided unexpected insecticidal activity. These compounds are represented by formula (I): wherein m, n, q, r, and s are independently selected from 0 or 1; and p is 0, 1, 2, or 3; A is C or CH; and B, D, E, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, Rand Rare fully described herein. In addition, compositions comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one compound of formula I, and optionally, an effective amount of at least one of a second compound, with at least one insecticidally compatible carrier are also disclosed; along with methods of controlling insects comprising applying said compositions to a locus where insects are present or are expected to be present.

N-(substituted arylmethyl)-4-(disubstituted methyl) piperidines and pyridines

Certain novel phenyl substituted cyclic derivatives have unexpected insecticidal activity. These compounds are represented by formula I: where B is a cyclic bridging group containing at least one N or N oxide link and a, A, b, B, c, d, D, L, M, Rthrough R, inclusively, and R, Rand Rare fully described herein. In addition, novel intermediates useful in preparing compounds of Formula I, compositions comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one compound of formula I, and optionally, an effective amount of at least one of a second compound, with at least one insecticidally compatible carrier are also disclosed; along with methods of controlling insects comprising applying said compositions to a locus where insects are present or are expected to be present. 

Phenyl substituted cyclic derivatives

Certain novel (dihalopropenyl)phenylalkyl substituted benzodioxolane and benzodioxane derivatives have provided unexpected insecticidal activity. These compounds are represented by formula I: where R through R, inclusively, x, A, B, y, D, E, G and M are fully described herein. Preferred compounds of the present invention are those wherein the benzofused ring moiety is attached to the remainder of the molecule at the positions designated as 1- or 2-. In addition, compositions comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one compound of formula I, and optionally, an effective amount of at least one of a second compound, with at least one insecticidally compatible carrier are also disclosed; along with methods of controlling insects comprising applying said compositions to a locus where insects are present or are expected to be present. 

Pesticidal (dihalopropenyl)phenylalkyl substituted benzodioxolane and benzodioxole derivatives

Insecticidal (dihalopropenyl) phenylalkyl substituted dihydrobenzofuran and dihydrobenzopyran derivatives of Formula I are disclosed. These compounds provide unexpected insecticidal activity across a spectrum of insect pests combined with desirable physical properties including improved photostability. wherein x and y are integers independently selected from 0 or 1; and B is a bridging group*&#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014;(CRR)-L-(CRR)&#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014;(CRR)&#x2014;,where the asterisk denotes attachment at A; and q, r, s, u, v and w are integers independently selected from 0, 1 and 2; and t is an integer selected from 0 and 1. A, D, E, G, M, R through R, and Rthrough R, inclusively, are fully described herein. In addition, compositions comprising an insecticidally effective amount of at least one compound of formula I and methods of controlling insects by applying said compositions to a locus where insects are present or are expected to be present are also disclosed.
