An electrical connector has an insulative body and multiple terminals. The insulative body has multiple mounting holes and multiple guiding channels. The terminals are mounted respectively in the mounting holes and each terminal has an electrical contacting portion mounted slidably in one of the guiding channels. The guiding channels guide and ensure a corresponding electrical contacting portion to move linearly without being inadvertently jammed or irrecoverably deformed. Therefore, the life-span of the electrical connector is increased.

Electrical connector with one-piece terminals

A terminal has a base, a wire covering portion, two connecting portions and two resilient arms. The resilient arms are formed on and protrude forward respectively from front ends of the connecting portions and each resilient arm has an extension section, a U-turn portion and a folding contacting section. The extension section is formed on and protrudes forward from the front end of one of the connecting portions. The U-turn portion is formed on the extension section. The folding contacting section is formed on and extends from the U-turn portion, is parallel to the other folding contacting section, and abuts an inside surface of the extension section. The terminal is structurally strong and durable.

Terminal for an electrical connector

An electrical connector for a circuit board includes an insulated housing, two narrow metal brackets, and a plurality of conductive contacts. The insulated housing has a connection plate, a raised portion, and two coupling portions at two opposite sides of the raised portion. The raised portion defines a plurality of contact grooves. Each coupling portion is formed in front of the raised portion. The two narrow metal brackets are provided for mounting with the coupling portions of the insulated housing. Each narrow metal bracket has a main plate, front and rear interference tabs for being interfered with one coupling portion of the insulated housing, and at least one positioning tab for being fixed onto the circuit board. The conductive contacts are fitted through the contact grooves of the raised portion.

Electrical connector

A wire-to-board connector for connecting with a board-to-wire connector that includes a plastic body having a raised portion and two coupling portions, wherein the raised portion defines multiple through holes, each coupling portion is formed with an upright support having an enlarged top end, and multiple conductive terminals are fitted through the multiple through holes, wherein each conductive terminal has a fixed section, a solder section, and a connecting section. The wire-to-board connector comprises a dielectric housing and multiple conductive terminals. The dielectric housing defines two engaging holes and multiple positioning recesses. The conductive terminals of the wire-to-board connector are disposed in the positioning recesses for electrical connection to the connecting sections, wherein a protrusion is formed on an inner surface of each engaging hole, corresponding to the enlarged top end.

A connector has a fixture with multiple slits defined therein, multiple terminals, a metal housing and a metal casing. One ends of the terminals are received in corresponding slits and the other ends of the terminals are exposed from the fixture. The metal housing encloses the exposed other ends of the terminals and connected to the metallic baffle. The metal casing encloses the fixture and a part of the metal housing.

Connector with low near end crosstalk

A battery connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of contact terminals mounted in the insulative housing and a washer mounted on the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a first surface, a second surface, a third surface and a plurality of notches defined through the third surface. Each notch communicates with a first opening and a second opening respectively defined on the first surface and the second surface. Each contact terminal has a flat base portion and a U-shaped resilient portion extending from the base portion. The base portion has a second contact portion. The resilient portion has a first contact portion. The washer encloses around the periphery of the insulative housing and is adjacent to the first surface. Therefore, when the battery connector is mounted to a circuit board, the washer prevents or moisture from getting into the battery connector.

An electrical connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a metal shell. The insulative housing has a base and an extension. The terminals are mounted in the base. The metal shell covers the insulative housing to define a card space between the insulative housing and the metal shell and has a top plate and two lateral plates. The top plate has a plurality of pressing tabs formed on and protruding from the top plate towards the top of the insulative housing to tightly abut against a card that is inserted into the card space. The pressing tabs prevent the card from moving or falling out of the card space.

A battery connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals and a holding bracket. The terminals are mounted in the insulative housing and each terminal has a contacting portion extending out of the insulative housing. The holding bracket covers the insulative housing and has a top portion, two side portions and two protective portions. The protective portions are formed on and protrudes forwards respectively from the side portions and extend forwards relative to the front of the insulative housing. The terminals are protected by the protective portions and would not permanently deformed by a battery pressing against the terminals.
