A universal serial bus connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, an insulating cover, a terminal module and a shielding shell surrounding the insulating housing, the insulating cover and the terminal module. The insulating housing includes a first base body which defines a first holding groove and a second base body which defines a second holding groove. The first terminals and the second terminals are disposed to the first base body. The insulating cover has a main body received in the first holding groove. The terminal module includes an insulating base and a plurality of third terminals integrally molded to the insulating base. The insulating base has a tongue portion received in the second holding groove, and a second supporting portion. A rear surface of the second supporting portion is flush with a rear surface of the first base body.

Universal serial bus connector

An electrical connector includes a supporting body, an insulating body engaged on the supporting body, a plurality of first terminals integrated in the insulating body, a plurality of second terminals integrated in the supporting body, and a shielding shell enclosing the supporting body and the insulating body. The first and the second terminals have contact portions thereof alternately arranged in two rows in longitudinal direction, and have soldering portions thereof vertically located with tail ends thereof projecting beyond a bottom face of the supporting body. The soldering portions are alternately arranged in two rows in longitudinal direction. The electrical connector of the present invention not only has high signal transmission rate and miniaturized structure, but also can be assembled quickly and accurately, thus it saves a lot of manpower and material resources, reduces the production cost and further improves the production efficiency.

Electrical connector

A card connector includes a first insulating housing defining a first receiving room, a second insulating housing defining a second receiving room, a first terminal group molded in the first insulating housing and having a plurality of first contact portions which project in the first receiving room, a second terminal group molded in the second insulating housing and having a plurality of second contact portions which project in the second receiving room, a drawer and a shielding shell. The first insulating housing is mounted on the second insulating housing, and the drawer is movably assembled between the first insulating housing and the second insulating housing. The drawer has two blocking slices bending downward to stretch in the second receiving room for ejecting a card out of the second receiving room by pulling the drawer outward. The shielding shell encloses the insulating housings.

Card connector

An electrical terminal has a soldering plate, a propping plate extending upward and rearward from a front end of the soldering plate, a resilient arm bending upward and then extending forward from a rear end of the soldering plate, and a pressing portion of inverted-V shape connected with a front end of the resilient arm and defining a mouth between a front arm and a rear arm thereof. A top end of the propping plate bends forward and downward to form a lower hook tail stretched in the mouth, resisting against an inner side of the front arm, and apart from an inner turning of the pressing portion. A bottom end of the front arm bends rearward and upward to form an upper hook tail hooking the lower hook tail with a free end thereof resisting against an outer side of the propping plate.

An electronic connector includes an insulating case, a metal plate and a contact module. The insulating case includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a receiving space defined therein, and a plurality of grooves defined at the top surface. The metal plate is retained in the receiving space and attached to the bottom surface of the insulating case. The contact module is retained in the receiving space, which includes an insulating housing, a plurality of contacts and a ground terminal. Each contact includes a first connecting portion extended above the top surface and aligned with the corresponding groove of the insulating case. The ground terminal includes a second connecting portion and a contacting portion. The second connecting portion is extended above the top surface and aligned with the corresponding groove of the insulating case. The contacting portion is connected to the metal plate.

A battery connector includes an insulating body having a base board and a fastening tongue protruding upward and then extending forward from a rear of the base board, and an electrical terminal which has a base plate, two elastic arms parallel and apart located over the base plate by means of two rear ends thereof curvedly connected with a rear edge of the base plate respectively, and two contact arms oppositely extending outward from two front ends of the elastic arms. The base plate is inserted rearward to be clipped between the fastening tongue and the base board, and the elastic arms are located at two opposite sides of the fastening tongue. The contact arms can be respectively connected with the positive electrode of one of two batteries and the negative electrode of the other battery to realize a series connection between the two batteries.

A connector terminal curved from a strip-shaped metal plate has a soldering plate of which a substantial middle of one end edge extends upward to form a bracket plate, an arched connecting portion bent upward from the other end of the soldering plate and apart facing the bracket plate, and a flexible arm extending from a free end of the connecting portion towards the bracket plate and parallel to the soldering plate. Two opposite side edges of a top end of the bracket plate oppositely protrude to form a pair of blocking ears. A free end of the flexible arm is arched upward to form an inverted-V shaped contacting portion adjacent to the bracket plate. Two ends of a distal edge of the contacting portion further extend beyond the two opposite side edges of the bracket plate to form a pair of resisting tails respectively restrained under the blocking ears.

Disclosed herein is a contact array of a universal serial bus (USB) connector including a first signal differential pair, a second signal differential pair and a third signal differential pair, wherein the second signal differential pair is disposed between the first and third signal differential pairs, and at least one power contact or ground contact is disposed between the first and second signal differential pairs, or between the second and third signal differential pairs.
