A light-curing resin composition, a three-dimensional object containing the same, and a manufacturing method of the three-dimensional object are provided. The light-curing resin composition includes a photoinitiator, an acrylic oligomer, an acrylic monomer, and expandable particles with hollow spherical shell structures. The acrylic monomer is a monofunctional monomer, a difunctional monomer, or a combination thereof.

An optical fingerprint imaging device, including a substrate, an imaging module, at least one light emitting element, a light shielding element, a case, and a pressing substrate, is provided. The light shielding element is disposed between the imaging module and the light emitting element. The optical fingerprint imaging device satisfies conditional expressions, h&#x2264;H&#x2264;h+(R/tan(&#x3b8;/2)) and Ravg&#x3c;S&#x3c;5Ravg, where h is a height from a field angle origin of the imaging module to the substrate, H is a height of the light shielding element at a measurement position, R is a distance from a center of the imaging module to the measurement position, &#x3b8; is an angle of a field angle of the imaging module, Ravg is an average value of distances from the center to measurement positions of the light shielding element, and S is a distance from the center to a center of the light emitting element.

Optical fingerprint imaging device

A fingerprint recognition device includes a light source, a light conversion layer, a light detector, and a light filter. The light source is configured to emit a first light having a first wavelength. The light conversion layer is configured to convert the first light to a second light having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength. The light detector is configured to detect the second light reflected by a fingerprint. The light filter is disposed between the light conversion layer and the light detector, and configured to substantially filter out the first light and substantially pass the second light.

Fingerprint recognition device

An image module includes a photosensitive element and a light-screening structure disposed on the photosensitive element. The light-screening structure includes a light-transmitting layer. The light-screening structure also includes a first light-shielding layer disposed in the light-transmitting layer and having a first light passage portion. The light-screening structure further includes a second light-shielding layer disposed between the first light-shielding layer and the photosensitive element and having a second light passage portion. The light-screening structure includes a condensing structure disposed on the light-transmitting layer. The first light passage portion and the second light passage portion correspond to the photosensitive element. Light passing through the condensing structure produces a concentrated beam, and the apertures of the first light passage portion and the second light passage portion are respectively adjusted according to the widths of the concentrated beam at the first light-shielding layer and at the second light-shielding layer.

Image module and biometric device using the same

A biometric device includes an illuminating unit and an imaging module. The imaging module includes an optical angular selective structure and a sensing layer. The light selecting structure includes a micro lens array, a refractive layer and a light shielding layer. The refractive layer is disposed between the micro lens array and the light shielding layer. The micro lens array includes a plurality of lens unit units, and the light shielding layer has a plurality of light passing portions. The sensing layer defines multiple sensing regions which are spaced apart from each other. The light shielding layer is disposed between the refractive layer and the sensing layer. The sensing regions correspond to the light passing portions, respectively. An optical angular selective distance is defined between the light shielding layer and the sensing layer.

Biometric device

A graphene electrode, an energy storage device employing the same, and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The graphene electrode includes a metal foil, a non-doped graphene layer, and a hetero-atom doped graphene layer. Particularly, the hetero-atom doped graphene layer is separated from the metal foil by the non-doped graphene layer.

A press sheet for fingerprint reader and a fingerprint reader are provided. The press sheet includes a transparent substrate, a microstructure layer, and a diffusion layer. The transparent substrate has a first surface and a second surface, and the first surface faces towards an optical imaging apparatus. The microstructure layer is disposed on the first surface of the transparent substrate, and the diffusion layer contains diffusion particles.

A photo-imprinting resin composition, a photo-imprinting resin film and a patterning process are provided. The photo-imprinting resin composition includes a novolac resin; a monomer having acrylic group, a polymer having acrylic group or a combination thereof; and a radical type photopolymerization initiator. The novolac resin has a Mw of 500 to 50000. The novolac resin does not react with the monomer having acrylic group nor the polymer having acrylic group described above.

A sensing chip including a substrate, a plurality of metal nanostructures, a first surface modified layer and a second surface modified layer is provided. The metal nanostructures are disposed on the substrate. The first surface modified layer is disposed on a surface of the metal nanostructures, wherein the first surface modified layer includes a plurality of thiol group-containing molecules. The second surface modified layer is disposed on a surface of the substrate, wherein the second surface modified layer includes a plurality of silyl group-containing molecules.

Sensing chip

A sensing chip is provided, which includes a substrate and a plurality of nano structures periodically arranged on the substrate, wherein each of the nano structures includes a bottom metal layer disposed on the substrate, a middle dielectric layer disposed on the bottom metal layer, and a top metal layer disposed on the middle dielectric layer. The bottom metal layer has an area that is larger than that of the top metal layer.

The disclosure provides a surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrate, including: a surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-active substrate; a patterned hydrophilic region and a patterned hydrophobic region formed on the SERS-active substrate, wherein a water contact angle difference between the patterned hydrophilic region and the patterned hydrophobic region is in a range from about 29 degrees to about 90 degrees.

An illumination device including a base, at least one LED light source and a diffusing element is provided. The base has a supporting plane. The LED light source disposed on the supporting plane has a light emitting surface substantially parallel to the supporting plane. The diffusing element disposed on the supporting plane to cover the at least one LED light source. The diffusing element includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion located above the at least one LED light source. The second portion connected between the first portion and the base. An optical characteristic of the first portion is different from that of the second portion so that a non-continuous boundary is defined between the first portion and the second portion.
