An applicator for administration of a medicament comprises a container in fluid communication with a dispenser having a plurality of non-deformable structures configured for retaining a predetermined volume of a liquid medicament delivered from the container. The dispenser is capable of delivering at least a part of said predetermined volume of said liquid medicament to a surface upon contact therewith.

Medical applicator

A device for delivering an active agent to a tissue (), comprising; a housing () including a reservoir () for containing said active agent; a delivery tip () being in fluid communication with said reservoir; and, a delivery mechanism () capable of delivering a predetermined amount of said active agent and releasing the same upon contact between said delivery tip and said tissue.

The pharmaceutical preparation useful for treating a skin or mucous membrane lesion is provided. Agents selected from: (i) a C-Calkyl ester of a saturated or cis-unsaturated C-Cfatty acid; (ii) a monoester or polyester of a polyol having at least four hydroxy groups with a saturated or cis-unsaturated C-Cfatty acid or an anhydro derivative thereof; (iii) a monoester or polyester of a mono-, di- or poly-saccharide with a saturated or cis-unsaturated C-Cfatty acid; (iv) an amide of a saturated or cis-unsaturated C-Cfatty acid with an aliphatic or aromatic amine or with an amino acid, peptide, protein or aminosaccharide; and (v) combinations of any of (i) to (iv), can be used for treatment of autoimmune diseases and other immune-associated inflammatory disorders. Preferred agents are ethyl oleate and mannide monooleate or a combination thereof.
