A silver particles manufacturing method comprises following steps: providing a silver containing compound; providing an organic solution; adding the silver containing compound into the organic solution, to perform ultrasonic vibrations or a heating process until the silver containing compound is dissolved completely into the organic solution, to form a silver ion solution; performing the ultrasonic vibrations or the heating process, and then let the solution settle down for a period, to form a silver particles synthesized solution; and placing the silver particles synthesized solution into a centrifuge to perform centrifugation and separation, to obtain &#x3bc;m-scale silver particles and nm-scale silver particles. The silver particles manufacturing method has the advantages of low pollution, low cost, high yield, and mass production.

The present invention provides a phosphor composition and light emitting device using the same. The phosphor composition includes a first phosphor and a second phosphor, the second phosphor includesextract,extract emits lights with wavelength from 450 nm to 750 nm as it is excited by lights with wavelength from 300 nm to 480 nm. The LED device using the phosphor composition could emit warm white lights with wavelength from 400 nm to 800 nm.

Disclosed herein is a method of producing a graphene from a graphite material. The method comprises the step of dispersing the graphite material in a solution, followed by shearing and exfoliating the graphite material produce a graphene-containing solution. The present method does not involve the use of chemical reagent and/or sonication treatment.

A phosphor material is provided which having the chemical formula is (LnCe)AlOCN, wherein Ln is one or more metals selected from Y, La, Pr, Nd, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Yb, Er, Sc, Mn, Zn, Cu, Ni and Lu, and 0.01&#x2266;x&#x2266;0.3, 0&#x2266;y&#x2266;0.3, and 0.001&#x2266;z&#x2266;0.3. Before the sintering process with high temperature is performed, the different kinds of nitrogen source or the combination of nitrogen source and carbon source thereof is added into the synthesized phosphor to provide carbon atom (C) and nitrogen atom (N) that is doped into the phosphor material, in which the nitrogen source includes an organic and an inorganic nitrogen compound. The nitrogen source is added in addition to substitute oxygen atom and to perform doping process.

Phosphors, fabricating method thereof, and light emitting device employing the same

A fiber measurement system for obtaining a fiber bending loss data of a moving fiber when compared with a static fiber is provided. The system includes an optical transmitter for generating a first optical modulating signal, a first optical coupling device electrically connected to the optical transmitter for coupling the first optical modulating signal from the static fiber to the moving fiber, a perturbing device electrically connected to the first optical coupling device for modulating the first optical modulating signal of the moving fiber to a second optical modulating signal, a second optical coupling device electrically connected to the perturbing device for coupling the second optical modulating signal from the moving fiber to the static fiber, an optical receiver electrically connected to the second optical coupling device for reading the second optical modulating signal, and a filter electrically connected to the optical receiver for filtering the second optical modulating signal, thereby obtaining the fiber bending loss data.
