A X-structure of a key and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The X-structure comprises a first frame and a second frame. The first frame comprises a bar. The first frame is connected and pivoted to the second frame via a fold located on the bar. The key comprises a keycap, a base and the X-structure installed between the keycap and the base. The manufacturing method of the X-structure comprises: providing the X-structure and pressing the bar to generate a fold until the first engaging portions are connected and pivoted to the second engaging portions.

Key, X-structure and manufacturing method thereof

A keyboard structure. The keyboard structure includes a base plate, a light guide member, a membrane circuit board, a key assembly and a light-emitting element. The light guide member is disposed on the base plate. The membrane circuit board is disposed on the light guide member. The key assembly is disposed on the membrane circuit board, with a key cap and a resilient element between the key cap and the membrane circuit board. The light-emitting element is adjacent to the light guide member and is disposed under the membrane circuit board. Light from the light-emitting element enters the resilient element and key cap via the light guide member.

An optical detector measuring a movement of an object in a space on a measurement axis comprises a light source, a reflective portion, a detection unit and a converting unit. The light source comprises a resonance chamber, the light source emitting a laser beam toward the object, the laser beam contacting the object and generating a first scattering beam and a reflection beam, wherein a part of the first scattering beam enters the resonance chamber. The reflective portion reflects the reflection beam toward the object, the reflection beam re-contacting the object and generating a second scattering beam and a sub-reflection beam, wherein a part of the second scattering beam and the sub-reflection beam enter the resonance chamber. The detection unit measures an optical-electrical variation in the resonance chamber to generate an electric signal. The converting unit converts the electric signal to a movement on the measurement axis in the space.

A thin film circuit includes a thin film switching circuit with an upper circuit layer including at least one upper joint, and a lower circuit layer including at least one lower joint corresponding to the upper joint. The lower circuit layer is set under the upper layer, and an air-filled space is disposed between the upper joint and the lower joint. The thin film switching circuit further includes at least one first air conduit set between the upper circuit layer and the lower circuit layer and connected to the air-filled space, and at least one bus structure connected to the thin film switching circuit and extending out of the thin film switching circuit to transmit electrical signals of the thin film switching circuit. The bus structure includes at least one second air conduit. One end of the second air conduit is connected to ambient atmosphere, and the other end of the second air conduit is connected to the first air conduit so that the air in the air-filled space can flow in and out to the ambient atmosphere through the first air conduit and the second air conduit.

The objective of the invention is to provide a compact and complex electronic component incorporating a rotary encoder capable of exact adjustment and a push switch with a long life-cycle. In order to achieve the objective, the push switch is fixed on a rear wall or a lower surface of the electronic component such that an essential of the push switch, i.e., a dome-shaped member, can be made larger and has longer fatigue life. Moreover, the rotary encoder includes a rotatable member and a resilient member. The rotatable member has a gear-shaped flange and is rotatable circumferentially relative to a central shaft of the rotary encoder. When the rotary encoder rotates, the resilient member, relative to the central shaft, is stationary. The resilient member has a V-shaped portion retained by a surface of the gear-shaped flange of the rotatable member such that the rotary encoder can be exact adjusted.

A key device for a computer keyboard has a rigid printed circuit board, a flexible printed circuit board, and a key structure. The rigid printed circuit board has two adjacent but unconnected conductive ends electrically connected to two wires respectively. The flexible printed circuit board, fixed over the rigid printed circuit board, has a conductive segment installed above the two conductive ends, and an isolation layer installed around the conductive segment to form a gap between the conductive segment and the two conductive ends. The key structure is moveably fixed on the flexible printed circuit board in an up and down manner. When the key structure is pushed downward, the bottom of the key structure will touch the conductive segment of the flexible printed circuit board, and the conductive segment will touch the two conductive ends of the rigid printed circuit board to electrically connect the two conductive ends and the two wires.

Computer keyboard key device made from a rigid printed circuit board

A removable silicon cap mounted on the top of a cursor control device is provided. The silicon cap has an outer surface, which is covered with an adhesive layer, and an inner surface. A plurality of fibers are attached to the adhesive layer. The silicon cap characterizes in that each fiber has a column portion and a base portion. The base portion is embedded in the adhesive layer to enhance the detachment-resistant capability of the fiber during use of the cursor control device.
