An in-vehicle message transmission method includes receiving a network management (NM) message from a Controller Area Network (CAN) network, transmitting a wakeup pulse to an Ethernet network in response to the NM message, storing an Ethernet message into which a CAN message received from the CAN network is converted in a gateway, and transmitting the Ethernet message to an Ethernet node when a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) connection with the Ethernet node to receive the Ethernet message is established.

A reprogramming apparatus for vehicle, a reprogramming method and a vehicle including the same are provided. The reprogramming apparatus for the vehicle may include: a diagnostic unit configured to diagnose a plurality of controllers of the vehicle; a reprogramming unit configured to reprogram the plurality of controllers; and a gateway configured to control communication connection among the diagnostic unit, the reprogramming unit, and the plurality of controllers, wherein the gateway is configured to change a Controller Area Network (CAN) communication mode to a Controller Area Network with Flexible Data-rate (CAN-FD) communication mode when a communication mode change request is received from the reprogramming unit, check whether CAN-FD communication mode cancellation conditions are satisfied when the CAN communication mode has been changed to the CAN-FD communication mode, and change the CAN-FD communication mode to the CAN communication mode when the CAN-FD communication mode cancellation conditions are satisfied.

Reprogramming apparatus for vehicle, reprogramming method thereof, and vehicle including the same

A software defined network (SDN)-based network management apparatus includes: an SDN controller including a first management unit to store a plurality of heterogeneous protocol information items, and an SDN switch controlled by the SDN controller and including a second management unit to store at least one heterogeneous protocol information item acquired from the SDN controller and a gateway to communicate with a vehicle network. In particular, upon receiving a packet corresponding to a new protocol that has not been used for access, from an external source, the SDN switch sends a request to the SDN controller for analysis of the received packet, and the SDN controller forwards protocol information corresponding to the received packet among the plurality of heterogeneous information items stored in the first management unit, to the SDN switch.

Apparatus for managing SDN-based in-vehicle network and control method thereof

A vehicle to vehicle (V2V) communication method and an apparatus using the same, for changing a communication method with a surrounding vehicle in consideration of an event type, may include: when an event occurs, determining whether the event is an important event, when the event is the important event, broadcasting data of the event, when the event is not the important event, determining a transmission method depending a communication situation with a surrounding vehicle, and multicasting or broadcasting the data of the event depending on the determined transmission method.
