An electric-propulsion car includes: a main frame, a front axle unit, a rear axle unit, wherein the axle units each have an auxiliary frame for supporting the axle units and two suspension units that connect two respective wheel supports to the supporting auxiliary frame, wherein at least one of the axle units is a motorized axle with steering wheels including, mounted on said auxiliary frame, an electric motor for actuating the rotation of the wheels, a control unit for controlling said electric motor, a transmission unit for connecting the electric motor to the wheels, and a steering device for steering the wheel supports, and wherein each one of the main frame and auxiliary frames includes a reticular lattice structure including boxed elements made of steel, each one of the main frame and auxiliary frames being adapted to be pre-assembled separately and then assembled together. The main frame and auxiliary frames include elements made up of multiple segments connected together and derived from at least one boxed element made of high-tensile steel, wherein the at least one boxed element has at least one notch formed on at least one side of the boxed element without involving an ulterior side of the boxed element, the notch being made on the at least one side at the point where said ulterior side of the boxed element has to be bent to obtain the configuration of the finished boxed element.

Electric vehicle with segmented frame and auxiliary frame in lattice structure

An electrically powered motor vehicle for transport of goods, of the minivan type, includes a main frame, a front axle assembly and a rear axle assembly. The main frame includes a front frame subassembly, a floor-panel subassembly, a rear frame subassembly, and a top frame subassembly. Each of these frame subassemblies includes a lattice structure including box-section elements made of steel, preferably high-strength steel. Each of the frame subassemblies is prearranged for being preassembled separately and subsequently assembled together with the other subassemblies so as to constitute the main frame. The structure is such as to afford high flexibility of production, and presents at the same time considerable safety characteristics, thanks to a high capacity of absorption of impact energy. The motor vehicle is equipped with a transporting body having a hollow-walled body made of plastic material, filled with foamed plastic material, preferably obtained with the rotational-molding technique.

A propulsion system for a vehicle includes a supporting structure and a plurality of propellers carried by the supporting structure. Each propeller is associated to an electric motor with a toroid geometry, having an annular rotor rotatable within an annular stator and defining therewithin a central aperture. The blades of the propeller, which are carried by the rotor, extend to the central aperture.

Propulsion system for a vehicle

An electrically powered motor vehicle includes a main frame, a front axle assembly, and a rear axle assembly. A seat assembly for a motor vehicle includes: a supporting structure, designed to be mounted on the floor panel of the motor vehicle; a seat, which is mounted on the supporting structure and includes a sitting portion and a backrest portion; and an airbag unit, including at least one airbag, which is folded into a housing provided in the seat assembly and is inflatable into an expanded condition outside the housing, whereby the at least one airbag has a conformation such that, in the expanded condition, the at least one airbag identifies a protection wall that surrounds the backrest portion of the seat.

An air-heating blower device for a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle comprising a body with at least one inlet opening at least one outlet opening an electrically driven axial fan rotatably mounted around its axis within the body. The fan is associated to an electric motor (M) with toroidal geometry, having an annular rotor which is rotatable within an annular stator and defining a central opening inside thereof, said fan (F) having one or more blades (B) which are carried by the rotor and each blade extending into said central opening towards a free end of the blade which terminates at a distance from the central axis of the fan, and in that the annular body of the rotor and/or the annular body of the stator define a guide tube for the airflow activated by the fan (F) over the resistive electric heater (H).

A motor-vehicle frame includes a pair of longitudinal members; a plurality of cross members, which join the longitudinal members to one another; a resting surface, which is supported by the longitudinal members and cross members and defines the surface of the floor of the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle; a pair of front uprights; and a front-seat assembly. The frame includes a platform structure, arranged on which is the front-seat assembly, which affords a greater comfort within the passenger compartment and moreover strengthens the overall structure of the motor vehicle.

The two axle assemblies have altogether corresponding configurations, and constitute in themselves independent modules, already pre-assembled in their operating configuration.
