A retarding device insertable between two members connected to rotate relatively about a hinge axis, and which opposes and so retards such rotation in predetermined manner; the device having: a substantially cylindrical support carried integrally by a first of the rotationally connected members and substantially coaxial with the hinge axis; a coil, spring fitted interferentially to the support and terminating with two opposite radial arms projecting towards a second of said members connected to each other for relative rotation; and a retaining seat carried integrally by the second member and on which the arms of the spring rest, on opposite sides, and are stressed by the second member, as a consequence of the aforementioned relative rotation, to deform the spring in such a direction as to progressively reduce and, beyond a certain point of the moving path of the other member, substantially eliminate, the interference with which the spring is fitted to the support. The rotation of the rotationally connected members is broken in a predetermined manner.

An assembly for protecting and fastening pipes to a vehicle body/underbody fitted with projecting electrowelded threaded fastening pins; the assembly includes at least one supporting element, and a protection element in the form of a channel snap-on connectable integral with one or more supporting elements, which are defined by respective clips, each having at least one through seat for housing a pipe, and a through hole perpendicular with respect to the seat and for engaging a respective threaded pin; the clips have integral elastic snap-on connecting means for retaining the channel, which is of predetermined length, is U-shaped in section, and has conjugate retaining elements, in which case, the through hole is provided internally with gripping means for gripping the pins; or the hole is a through hole, and the assembly also includes a sleeve, which engages the hole in the clip as well as a corresponding slotted through hole in the channel by means of a tubular body provided internally with means for gripping the pins, and having a head which rests against the channel.

An integrated system for protecting and fastening pipes to a supporting structure, in particular to a vehicle body, by means of threaded pins welded to the vehicle body, the system including at least one supporting element defined by a one-piece body or clip in turn including a central portion with a through hole housing, in use, a sleeve which fastens on to a threaded pin, at least one seat for a pipe, and a flat circular supporting region surrounding the hole on the side eventually facing the vehicle body; and a protection element integrated with the clip and defined by a channel, which provides for protecting the pipes and is connected laterally to the clip by a thin flexible strip which flexes to enable the channel to be rotated 180.degree. on to the clip; the clip and the channel are co-molded simultaneously from the same material, such as a copolymer propylene resin with an appropriate filler; and, at assembly, the clip, supporting the pipe, is first fitted to the vehicle body and retained temporarily to the pin by radial tabs inside the hole, and, once the channel is fitted on to the clip, the sleeve is inserted inside the hole and forced axially on to the pin to fasten the channel and the underlying clip by means of a flared head on the sleeve.

A fastening system including two components in the form of two independent fastening elements wherein a first fastening element is used to fasten a finish element such as a door panel, dashboard panel, or the like, to a vehicle body, and is first inserted through a hole in the finish element, and then fixed firmly to the vehicle body inside an opening formed in the body; and a second fastening element is used to fasten an accessory to the finish element, and is first fitted separately to the accessory, and then inserted inside the first fastening element and rotated slightly to establish a reversible connection; the first fastening element in the system is in the form of a one-piece plug made of high-mechanical-strength plastic, and the head of which has an inner cavity with two opposite symmetrical teeth projecting inwards of the cavity; the second fastening element includes an actuating body and a retaining element connected to each other beforehand through a hole formed in the accessory; and the retaining element has a cam, which cooperates beneath the teeth on the plug when the retaining element is inserted inside the cavity and rotated approximately a quarter turn, to connect the second fastening element to the first.
