A method, node, and computer-readable medium are provided to convert a proprietary model to a tool-agnostic surrogate model using a functional mockup interface (FMI) standard. A proprietary model is received as a functional-mockup unit (FMU) An automated dataset generation is performed on the FMU to create input/output datasets based on design of experiments and input requirements. Steady-state operational-points are determined. The tool-agnostic surrogate model is generated based on the input/output datasets and the steady-state operational-points. The tool-agnostic surrogate model is output as an output FMU model that is free of licensing requirements of a license for the proprietary model. The tool-agnostic surrogate model may be a steady-state surrogate model, a dynamic surrogate model, or a combination thereof.

License-free surrogate model generation

A device for pilot training includes a memory, an interface, and one or more processors. The memory is configured to store at least one computational model of at least one human sensory system. The interface is configured to receive sensor data and aircraft state data from a flight simulator. The sensor data includes pilot activity data and motion data. The motion data is indicative of detected motion of a simulated aircraft of the flight simulator. The processor(s) are configured to process the motion data and the pilot activity data based on the at least one computational model to predict a pilot estimated aircraft state. The processor(s) are configured to determine an estimated error based on a comparison of the pilot estimated aircraft state and a detected aircraft state. The aircraft state data indicates the detected aircraft state. The processor(s) are configured to provide the estimated error to a second device.

Quantitative pilot evaluation during training

A method for air separation module management includes determining an amount of nitrogen-enriched-air to be supplied to each fuel tank of a plurality of fuel tanks of an aircraft. The method also includes evaluating a status and usage of each air separation module of a plurality of air separation modules onboard the aircraft. The method additionally includes determining an optimal distribution of workload among the plurality of air separation modules based on the amount of the nitrogen-enriched-air to be supplied to each fuel tank and the status and usage of each air separation module. The method further includes regulating a valve associated with each air separation module or a group of air separation modules based on the optimal distribution of workload to each air separation module.

System and method for air separation module management

A method for automatic generation of integrated test procedures using system test procedures includes generating a system test case for each system model of a plurality of system models. The method also includes automatically generating an integrated test harness including a group of interacting system models of the plurality of system models. An output signal from one or more of the interacting system models is an input signal to one or more other interacting system models. The method additionally includes automatically generating an integrated test case for each system model in the integrated test harness and automatically running the integrated test case using an integrated test procedure. The method further includes generating an integrated test procedure coverage report in response to running the integrated test case.

Automatic generation of integrated test procedures using system test procedures

A method includes storing technical models in a network-accessible model repository. Each technical model is labeled with descriptive metadata and comprises one or more model views labeled with functional metadata. A request is received from a stakeholder device, the request specifying descriptive attributes and functional attributes applied to an associated stakeholder. Technical model(s) are retrieved based on the descriptive metadata labelling the retrieved technical models being determined to satisfy the descriptive attributes included in the request. For each retrieved technical model, one or more model views are compiled based on the functional metadata labelling the compiled model view being determined to satisfy the functional attributes included in the request. The stakeholder device is provided secure access to a specification package that comprises one or more viewpoints for the retrieved technical model(s), each viewpoint comprising one or more of the compiled model views for each of the retrieved technical models.

Generation and distribution of technical model viewpoints

A computing device, method and computer program product are provided in order to develop a system model. In a method, a simulation model is designed that is configured to digitally simulate a corresponding portion of a system. The method also includes associating a simulation assessment module with the simulation model. The simulation assessment module is configured to verify one or more signals propagating within the simulation model. In an instance in which the simulation assessment module has verified the one or more signals, the method includes performing a unit test upon the simulation model to confirm proper operation of the simulation model. In an instance in which the unit test is successful, the method includes integrating a plurality of simulation models to form the system model.
