A gel sealing device includes a gel sealing block () which provides a sealing section () through which the elongate parts () extend. The gel sealing block () includes an upper flange () and a lower flange () with a support section () disposed therebetween. The upper and lower flanges () sandwiches, in direction of extension of the elongate parts (), a gel inner ring () supported by said support section () and a gel outer ring () covering the gel inner ring () in a radial direction extending transverse to said extension direction. The gel inner ring () and the gel outer ring () are made of a gel sealing material.

Gel sealing device

The present invention relates to a gel sealing device for sealing a passage of elongate parts through an opening. Such gel sealing device is preferably arranged in a housing used in telecommunication technology. The inventive gel sealing device comprises a gel sealing block () which provides a sealing section () through which the elongate parts () extend, wherein the gel sealing block () comprises an upper flange () and a lower flange () with a support section () disposed therebetween. The upper and lower flanges () sandwiches in direction of extension of the elongate parts (), a gel inner ring () supported by said support section () and a gel outer ring () covering the gel inner ring () in a radial direction extending transverse to said extension direction. The gel inner ring () and the gel outer ring () are made of a gel sealing material, wherein the sealing section () is formed therebetween. The gel sealing block () is adapted to seal in the sealing section () a tube end of at least one tube () guiding at least one of the elongate parts.

The upper and lower flanges () sandwiches in direction of extension of the elongate parts (), a gel inner ring () supported by said support section () and a gel outer ring () covering the gel inner ring () in a radial direction extending transverse to said extension direction. The gel inner ring () and the gel outer ring () are made of a gel sealing material, wherein the sealing section () is formed therebetween. The gel outer ring () comprises a first circumferential segment () and at least one second circumferential segment () which is adapted to be detachable from the first circumferential segment () to provide a separate accessible sealing section.
