A bearing assembly for rotatively holding a shaft with respect to a support member and comprises: a bearing, with a rotatable ring and a fixed outer ring to be immobilized within a housing of said support member. An encoder washer is fast in rotation with the rotating ring. At least one sensor is adapted to detect at least one rotation parameter of the encoder washer and a sensor body holds this sensor. An annular flange is used for mounting said sensor body with respect to the fixed outer ring. The annular flange has a first skirt and a second skirt which define, between them and a bottom wall of the flange, an annular recess for accommodating at least a part of the sensor body. In mounted configuration of the bearing assembly, the first and second skirts extend respectively towards the rotatable and fixed rings.

A sensor-bearing unit, adapted for implementation in an oil lubricated environment and comprising: a bearing including at least one rotating ring movable in rotation around a central axis, and a detection device for tracking the rotation of the rotating ring. The detection device is locked to the bearing and includes at least one target and at least one sensor associated with the target. At least one axial side of the bearing includes a passage opened along an axial direction parallel to the central axis and allowing an oil flow through the bearing. The detection device includes an air gap defined radially to the central axis between a maximum outer radius of the target and a minimum inner radius of the sensor.

This support member () is for holding at least two sensors with respect to an encoder washer and forms one housing (V) adapted to accommodate the sensors next to each other. This housing (V) has at least two abutment surfaces (A-E,A-E) for positioning each of said sensors along two perpendicular directions (R, R'). The rotation detection set comprises an encoder washer adapted to rotate around a rotation axis, at least two sensors adapted to detect the rotation of the encoder washer around the rotation axis and a support member (). A rotation detection set comprises an encoder washer rotatable around a rotation axis, at least one sensor adapted to detect a rotation parameter of the encoder washer through an air gap, a support member for holding the sensor with respect to the rotation axis and a mounting member for immobilizing the support member with respect to a fixed structure. The mounting member is made of one piece of magnetic material and has a first wall located on the same side of the air gap as the encoder washer and a second wall located on the same side of the air gap as the sensor whereas a magnetic body of the encoder washer, the air gap and the sensor are located in a volume defined by the mounting member between the two walls.
