A closed loop tubular discharge assembly for an electrodeless light-emitting device and discharge reactor is disclosed. The discharge assembly comprises one or more tubular segments tubularly connected at their respective ends to form the closed loop tubular assembly, which hermetically encloses an ionizable gas. At least one of the one or more tubular segments forms a non-cylindrical, hollow-shaped tubular segment. In one embodiment, the non-cylindrical, hollow-shaped segment is formed by an internal tube at least partially enclosed within an external tube, forming a hollow-shaped discharge envelope enclosing the ionizable gas there between. When a discharge current circulates in the ionizable gas of the envelope, a hollow-shaped plasma is created in the envelope and surrounds the internal tube. This design has been shown to increase performance and provide several improvements over prior art devices.

Electrodeless plasma device

T cells, notably CD8 T cells, are known to be essential players in tumor eradication as the presence of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILS) in several cancers positively correlates with a good prognosis. To eliminate tumor cells, CD8 T cells recognize tumor antigens, which are MHC I-associated peptides present at the surface of tumor cells, with no or very low expression on normal cells. Described herein a proteogenomic approach using RNA-sequencing data from cancer and normal-matched mTECsamples in order to identify non-tolerogenic tumor-specific antigens derived from (i) coding and non-coding regions of the genome, (ii) non-synonymous single-base mutations or short insertion/deletions and more complex rearrangements as well as (iii) endogenous retroelements, which works regardless of the sample's mutational load or complexity.

Proteogenomic-based method for identifying tumor-specific antigens

Novel minor histocompatibility antigens (MiHAs) are described. These novel MiHAs were selected based on two features: (i) they are encoded by loci with a minor allele frequency (MAF) of at least 0.05; and (ii) they have adequate tissue distribution. Compositions, nucleic acids and cells related to these novel MiHAs are also described. The present application also discloses the use of these novel MiHAs, and related compositions, nucleic acids and cells, in applications related to cancer immunotherapy, for example for the treatment of hematologic cancers such as leukemia.

Minor histocompatibility antigens and uses thereof

A novel method for human minor histocompatibility antigen (MiHA) discovery, novel MiHAs identified using this method, as well as uses of the novel MiHAs, are described. One of the features of the novel method is the inclusion of personalized translated transcriptome and/or exome in the database used for peptide identification by mass spectroscopy (MS). Candidate MiHAs are identified by comparing the personalized transcriptome and/or exome to a reference genome and/or to the transcriptome and/or exome of an HLA-matched subject.

Method for identifying novel minor histocompatibility antigens

Disclosed herein are substantially pure nucleic acids encoding mutated SUMO isoforms, polypeptides, vectors, cells and methods of their use to identify and quantify protein SUMOylation in mammalian cells. Also disclosed is a dual affinity method for detecting a mutated SUMOylated protein substrate fragment.

Mutated SUMO isoforms and uses thereof

There is described a method and corresponding pulse generating device, for generating an output pulse signal having an output pulse duration. The method comprises: receiving at an input port an input pulse signal comprising an input pulse duration; duplicating the input pulse signal into a first digital pulse signal and a second digital pulse signal each comprising the input pulse duration; delaying at least one of the first and the second digital pulse signals by a time delay to obtain respectively a first and a second delayed digital pulse signal, a time delay difference between the first and the second delayed digital pulse signals being substantially equal to the output pulse duration; logically combining the first and the second delayed digital pulse signals to generate the output pulse signal with the output pulse duration smaller than the input pulse duration; and outputting the output pulse signal at an output port.
