A method of reducing common mode current that flows between an internal ground of an electrical circuit and an Earth ground, the electrical circuit is supplied by an electrical network delivering an alternating voltage. The method includes applying a voltage by the electrical network between the internal ground of the circuit and the Earth ground and applying an additional voltage between the internal ground of the circuit and the Earth ground using an electronic component interposed between the internal ground of the circuit and Earth ground, this additional voltage opposing the voltage applied by the electrical network between the internal ground and the Earth ground so as to reduce the common mode current at the frequency of the electrical network.

The excitation circuit according to the invention controls an excitation current (lexc) in an excitation winding () of an alternator by means of an on-board network voltage control loop (Vbat+,) of the vehicle, and comprises a first MOS power transistor () which is connected between a first positive supply terminal Vbat+ (), and a first excitation terminal (), and is controlled by the control loop by means of a first control circuit (), a second MOS power transistor (), which is connected between the first excitation terminal and a second excitation terminal () which is connected to a ground terminal () and acts as a free wheel diode, whilst being controlled by means of a second control circuit (). The invention relates to a device for detecting a leakage current, comprising means () for measuring a current from an electrical circuit of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, said detection device being configured to be placed on board said vehicle and being such that the measuring means () comprise: a magnetic core () configured to be passed through by one or a plurality of conductive elements () traversed by the current from the electrical circuit, said conductive element(s) () forming a primary winding; a secondary winding (), wound around the core (), to generate a magnetic flux from a reference current; and an oscillator () for generating the reference current though the secondary winding (), the reference current being configured to saturate said core (). According to the invention, the value of the current of the primary winding () is obtained from the average value of the current at the secondary winding () over a period of oscillation covering a complete core () magnetization and demagnetization cycle. The invention also relates to various on-board systems using said device.

Detection of a leakage current comprising a continuous component in a vehicle

Device (DMT) arranged to provide an additional voltage, when the heat engine starts up, for the electrical power supply of the rotating electrical machine (AD). This additional voltage is added to a rated voltage of the on-board electrical system (RB) provided by a battery (BAT). The device comprises a second voltage source (Ucap) and electronic switches (K, K), each comprising at least one MOSFET transistor. At least one MOSFET transistor (K) of the switches, mounted in series with the second voltage source, is controlled in linear mode at the end of the startup of the heat engine. Advantageously, the device comprises current control loops for controlling the transistors in linear mode.

A device for measuring a chopped current capable of flowing in a circuit having an H-bridge structure including a first branch and a second branch is disclosed. The device includes two transformers respectively connected to a branch and each comprising a primary circuit configured for the flow of a chopped current and a secondary circuit, two demagnetizing circuits, and two measuring circuits respectively connected to the terminals of the secondary circuit of an associated transformer, and respectively including at least one unit which comprises two switch connected in reverse, the two switches being respectively implemented by a transistor and being capable of being controlled. A method of controlling a supercapacitor energy storage unit (), included in a motor vehicle micro-hybrid system, is disclosed. The storage unit is suitable for performing the functions of an alternator, starter and automatic stop-restart of the vehicle heat engine, regenerative braking and torque assistance. The energy storage unit () is a plurality of supercapacitor elementary cells connected in series (Cto C) and capable of delivering information (Vmax, Temp and DeltaV) on its internal status. The method includes various stages of: comparing a maximum elementary voltage (Vmax) with a first voltage threshold (Vmax); comparing a temperature (Temp) with at least one temperature threshold (ST=55&#xb0; C., ST=65&#xb0; C. and ST=70&#xb0; C.); and, deciding on limitations of the availability of functions of the unit when the (Vmax) information reaches threshold (Vmax) for a predetermined duration (T) and/or when the (Temp) information reaches the temperature threshold (ST=55&#xb0; C., ST=65&#xb0; C. and ST=70&#xb0; C.).

A DC-DC voltage converter operating in zero-voltage switching mode with a switching threshold includes a plurality of interlaced cells, each cell having at least two controlled switches that are configured to be alternately closed and open, and each cell having an inductor in which an output current from the cell flows. The converter also includes a clock with a given switching period configured for triggering the switching of the switches between upper and lower control thresholds. A method for closed-loop control of the converter includes measuring, for each cell, an overrun period, determining a correction time corresponding to a minimum overrun period measured for the plurality of cells during an interlacing cycle, calculating an optimized switching period for the clock, and applying the optimized switching period to the clock to provide closed-loop control of the interlacing of the output currents from the plurality of cells of the converter.
