A camming clamping device comprising: a head sub-assembly including a head provided with a cam and a rod sub-assembly having a rod and at least one wire element. The wire element passes through the rod. The rod delineates a through hole designed to receive a connector. The wire element delineates the through hole. The wire element defines at least one loop that is attached to head to constitute a mechanical continuity between the head and the attachment point. The at least one loop is passed through by a tube. The tube and the at least one loop are passed through by an anchorage fixed to the head to constitute the mechanical continuity between the head and the attachment point.

Camming clamping device and method for manufacturing one such device and method for replacing a wire element of one such device

A gear sling device comprises a body in the form of a hook with an opening and a gate fixed to the body. The gate is fitted movable with respect to the body between a first position closing the opening and a second position leaving the opening open. The body and gate define a ring. A loop is designed to fix the body to a belt of a harness or to a strap. The loop is partly bounded by the body. The gear sling device comprises a wire-like element fitted sliding inside a through hole passing through the body. The wire-like element extends from the through hole to a pressing area where a first end of the wire-like element pulls on the body. A clamp is configured to block the wire-like element and to define the size of the loop.

The roping harness comprises: The first comfort pad and second comfort pad are fitted movable in translation with respect to one another. The first comfort pad is fitted movable in translation with respect to the first strap along the first strap. The belt comprises at least a first blocking stop configured to prevent movement of the first comfort pad with respect to the second comfort pad beyond a threshold value, the first adjustment device forming a second blocking stop of the first comfort pad.

Roping harness

Ascender for ascending on a rope, comprising a U-shaped clamp equipped with two lateral wings delineating an internal space for passage of the rope, and with an arresting surface with spikes against which the rope is blocked in case of a fall. The two wings are provided with two openings arranged facing one another and each having an edge in the form of an inclined ramp performing guiding of a karabiner passing through the two openings. The clamp comprises a mobile control part biased by a spring to an active actuation position of the karabiner along the ramp for the rope to come into contact against the arresting surface with spikes, so as to obtain a first ready-to-block state when ascending on the rope, and a second blocking state of the clamp on the rope in the event of a fall.

Ascender for ascending on a rope

A carabiner equipped with a swivelling gate formed by a rigid metal wire of smaller diameter than that of the body. The wire is provided with a protuberance at one of the ends to form a male latching element and an articulation loop at the opposite end for passage of the swivel-pin. A flexible return device for returning the gate to the closed position comprises a compression spring operating in conjunction with an intermediate transfer stirrup inside a housing of the body.

Carabiner with moving gate in the form of a wire

An ice crampon including a metal armature, the metal armature being composed of a horizontal support plate, at least one front spike in the form of a blade, and an adjustment device for adjusting the length of said front spike between a withdrawn position and an advanced position. In the intermediate part, each front spike comprises two circular apertures for passage of a fixing screw in both the withdrawn and advanced positions, and in the rear part comprises a sliding link operating in conjunction with a positioning cross-member securely attached to the armature when adjustment is performed. The sliding travel corresponds to the longitudinal distance between the two apertures, and the positioning cross-member is notched over its whole width with a succession of rectangular notches and indentations further enabling transverse positioning of the front spike.

A belay device for a rope, comprising a plate having at least one slot for a loop of the rope to pass through, a retaining element integral to the plate, and a carabiner connected to the retaining element by means of a securing part rendering it captive with respect to the plate. The carabiner is fitted with bidirectional sliding in the securing part to come up against the stop formed by the plate when blocking the rope or to move away from the latter when releasing is performed.

Multifunctional belay device for a rope

A safety karabiner comprises a swivelling gate with a sliding locking ring operating in conjunction with a lock-bolt. The ring comprises a hole for receiving the lock-bolt at the end of the translation travel to the first locked position to constitute both a mechanical blocking device of the ring and a first visual indicator indicating the locked state. The lock-bolt is fitted on the movable gate.
