A device for storing gas includes at least one container ( ) for gas, of the high pressure type, that has an outlet conduit with which is associated a branch ( ) ensuring a closeable calibrated loss. The invention relates to a hood for protecting against smoke and hypoxia which is of use more particularly in the protection of flying personnel in aircraft.
