Disclosed is an installation for generating electricity from a heat source, for disconnecting the production of electricity from the source of heat. The main characteristic of such installation is that it includes a thermochemical storage device coupled to a power cycle, the storage device consisting of a reactor in which produces a reversible sorption process and an evaporator and a condenser, at least one of the components of the thermochemical device being coupled mass and/or thermal to at least one element of the power cycle.

Electricity production facility including heat storage

An installation for the production of cold and/or heat has a driving and a receiving machine. Installation and method for the production of cold and/or heat

A plant for the producing of cold, heat and/or work. The plant includes at least one modified Carnot machine having a first assembly that includes an evaporator Evap combined with a heat source, a condenser Cond combined with a heat sink, a device DPD for pressurizing or expanding a working fluid GT, a means for transferring said working fluid GT between the condenser Cond and DPD, and between the evaporator Evap and DPD; a second assembly that includes two transfer vessels CT and CT' that contain a transfer liquid LT and the working fluid GT in the form of liquid and/or vapor; a means for selectively transferring the working fluid GT between the condenser Cond and each of the transfer vessels CT and CT&#x2032;, as well as between the evaporator Evap and each of the transfer enclosures CT and CT&#x2032;; and a means for selectively transferring the liquid LT between the transfer vessels CT and CT&#x2032; and the compression or expansion device DPD, said means including at eat hydraulic converter.

Plant for producing cold, heat and/or work

The invention relates to refrigeration at Tby a reversible sorption system. The method is implemented in an installation comprising an endothermic component (EC) and an exothermic component consisting of the reactors () and (). The reactors () and () are in thermal contact, each of them constituting an active thermal mass for the other, and they are provided with heating means () and heat extraction means (). (), () and (EC) are provided with means for bringing them into selective communication, and reversible phenomena involving a gas G take place therein, the equilibrium curve for the phenomenon in () lying within a higher temperature range than that of the equilibrium curve for the phenomenon in (), which is itself higher than that of the curve for the phenomenon in (EC) in the Clausius-Clapeyron plot.
