Step-in snowboard binding designed to hold a boot by its sides. The binding comprises at least one jaw secured to a driving arm intended to be driven by the boot. The jaw has a cam-shaped part collaborating with a locking element which can move in a guide in such a way that the jaw is locked for various positions of the jaw. The jaw is equipped with a return spring which tends to keep it in the open position, and the jaw and the locking element cooperate to keep the locking element away from its locking position when the jaw is raised. In this way, the jaw cannot be closed inadvertently and the locking element does not hamper the closure movement.

Step-in snowboard binding

An elastic element is interposed between the plate and the sole assembly. The element is deformable to allow lateral deflection of the boot relative to the binding.

Roller skate with removable boot

An interface is provided for connecting a sports boot with a gliding board. The boot has a tall, soft upper, a flexible sole with at least one longitudinal groove of trapezoidal cross section and four attachment points. The interface has (1) on the boot side, an outer profile of trapezoidal overall shape similar to that of the groove in the boot and which is intended to engage in the groove of the boot and (2) means of automatically attaching and locking the four attachment points of the boot. At the rear of the interface, an arm rises up approximately vertically and is equipped with means of connection to the back of the upper of the boot. The lower part of the interface has attachment means adapted to the particular type of gliding board.

The brake is constituted by a cylindrical body (18) mounted rotatably and movably radially to its axis (17) in relation to the chassis (1) of the skate so as to come into contact with the two rear wheels (4, 5) on backward flexion of the leg. The cylindrical body (18) is preferably mounted with vertical play on a lever (11) actuated by a collar (9) of the boot.

In-line roller skate equipped with a brake acting on the wheels

An in-line roller skate is provided which comprises a main chassis (1) having two lateral plates (1a), between which at least two rollers (2, 3, 4, 5) are mounted, and an auxiliary chassis (8) which is of U-shaped profile, which straddles the main chassis and is articulated onto this main chassis. The auxiliary chassis (8) is articulated about two disks (12) which are fixed on the outer faces of the main chassis (1). The disks (12) may have two cylindrical bearing zones (14, 15) of different diameters. The auxiliary chassis (8) has circular cutouts (16), each having diameters corresponding to the diameters of the bearing zones of the disks (12), the smaller diameter (14) being located toward the inside of the auxiliary chassis. This design makes it possible to free the interior of the main chassis for the rollers.

In-line roller skate

A skate is provided, consisting of an upper chassis (3) which supports a boot (4) and which is articulated onto a lower chassis (1) provided with rollers (2), about a pin (5) located in the front half of the lower chassis. The upper chassis (3) is elastically supported. The inclination of the upper chassis (3) can be modified using an adjustment device with prepositioning, comprising a wedging part and a prepositioning member (12) that arms a spring whose relaxation brings the wedging part into the desired position when it is released by the upper chassis. A relatively weak actuation spring is sufficient.

An in-line roller skate including a main chassis (1) supporting at least two rollers (5, 6), and an auxiliary chassis (8) which is articulated onto the main chassis and bears at least the rear roller (10). The skate includes a pair of discs (13) which are mounted so as to rotate and the frustoconical faces of which are applied onto the two rear rollers (6, 10) when the skate tilts rearward, braking being ensured by friction of the discs on the rotationally fixed parts of the skate.
