The invention relates to a process for treating a lignocellulosic biomass comprising a solids content of not more than 80% by weight, said process comprising the use of at least one reactor () for treating said biomass, in which the or at least one of said reactors is fed with biomass via a feed means () creating a pressure increase between the biomass inlet and the biomass outlet of said feed means, in which said feed means is washed by circulation of a washing fluid between a washing inlet () and a washing outlet (). According to the process, at least a portion of the washing fluid () exiting the fluid outlet of the at least one feed means () is reintroduced into the washing inlet of the same feed means or of another of said feed means.

Lignocellulosic biomass treatment method

The invention relates to a process for treating lignocellulosic biomass by means of an acidic liquor in order to produce 'second-generation' (2G) sugary liquors. These sugary liquors may be used to produce other products via a biochemical pathway (e.g. alcohols such as ethanol, butanol or other molecules, for example solvents such as acetone, etc.). This process comprises analysis of the liquid streams withdrawn during the process and adjustment of the composition of the impregnation liquor so as to keep the acidic power of said streams constant.

Method for treating lignocellulosic biomass by impregnation

The process for the production of alcohol and/or solvent from a biomass feedstock comprises the stages for pretreatment (P) of the biomass feedstock, for enzymatic hydrolysis (Hand HF), and for fermenting the hydrolyzate (HF). To prevent solids from being sent and to facilitate operating the section for purifying the fermentation products, at least a portion of the solid material in the fermentation wine is extracted (Ex) to obtain a stream of solid residue () comprising lignin and a fermentation wine () that is low in solid material. Then, the stream of solid residue is washed (L) with a liquid stream to recover a liquid stream that is enriched with fermentation products (). The liquid stream that is enriched with fermentation products () is recycled in the enzymatic hydrolysis stage (H) to recover any fermentation product and to increase the overall yield of the process.

Method for producing alcohols and/or solvents from lignocellulosic biomass with washing of the solid residue obtained after fermentation

The invention describes an integrated process for capturing COemitted by at least a portion of the flue gas coming from the regeneration zone of a catalytic cracking unit using a unit for amine treatment of said flue gas, in which the catalytic cracking unit is equipped with an external exchanger using as the hot fluid a portion of the catalyst removed from the regeneration zone, the heat necessary for the amine treatment unit being supplied integrally by the catalytic cracking unit using the steam generated by said external exchanger.

Process for recovering CO2 from regeneration flue gas coming from a catalytic cracking unit

The gaseous effluent to be treated is contacted in Cwith an absorbent solution selected for its property of forming two separable phases when it has absorbed an amount of acid compounds and when it is heated. According to the invention, the absorbent solution is regenerated in at least two stages in regeneration zones Zand Z. At the end of the first regeneration stage in Z, at least part of the partly regenerated absorbent solution is separated into two fractions in B: a fraction rich in acid compounds and a fraction depleted in acid compounds. Fractionrich in acid compounds is sent to the second regeneration stage in Z. The fraction depleted in acid compounds and regenerated absorbent solutionfrom the second regeneration stage are recycled to absorption column C The method can be applied to combustion fumes decarbonation and to natural gas or synthesis gas deacidizing.

Gas deacidizing method using an absorbent solution with demixing during regeneration

The gaseous effluent to be treated is contacted in Cwith an absorbent solution selected for its property of forming two separable phases when it has absorbed an amount of acid compounds and when it is heated. The absorbent solution laden with acid compounds is then heated in Eand Eso as to separate two fractions in BS: a first absorbent solution fraction depleted in acid compounds and a second absorbent solution fraction enriched in acid compounds. The second fraction is regenerated in Cso as to release part of the acid compounds, and the first absorbent solution fraction and the regenerated absorbent solution are recycled as absorbent solution. Gas deacidizing method using an absorbent solution with demixing control

The gaseous effluent to be treated is contacted in column Cwith an absorbent solution selected for its property of forming two separable phases when it is heated. The regenerated absorbent solution is separated into two phases in drum B; a fraction rich in water and a fraction rich in reactive compounds. Separation allows to optimize the operations performed on the regenerated absorbent solution. On the one hand, separation allows to carry out vaporization, through reboiler R, of a fraction of the absorbent solution, preferably containing a limited reactive compound concentration in relation to the absorbent solution, thus limiting their degradation. On the other hand, separation of the phases allows to reduce the amount of solution to be treated in order to remove the non-regeneratable salts and thus to reduce the costs linked with their elimination. Finally, separation allows to eliminate the degradation products by carrying out a specific and suitable purification for each phase. The method can be applied to combustion fumes decarbonation and to natural gas or synthesis gas deacidizing.
