An air distributor including a cylindrical tubular body including connecting channels for supplying cylinders of an internal combustion engine, branches of which open in an aligned manner along a generatrix of the tubular body. The tubular body extends upstream into the branches of a 180&#xb0; elbow that opens at an air inlet, the elbow inclined in relation to the diametral plane of the tubular body containing generatrix. A recess is provided in the tubular body opposite the branches of the first and second distributed cylinders. The recess has a converging/diverging profile around the lowest area between the branches, and the recess can use Venturi effect to reduce drop in swirl in the second distributed cylinder induced by architecture of the inclined elbow distributor, by regulating airflows in the channels. The distributor can mount to an intake face of a diesel engine cylinder head with two intake ducts per cylinder.

Air supply distributor for an internal combustion engine

An air distributor including a cylindrical tubular body including connecting channels supplying cylinders of an internal combustion engine, branches of which open in an aligned manner along a generatrix of the tubular body. The tubular body extends upstream into branches of a 180&#xb0; elbow that opens at an air inlet, the elbow being inclined in relation to the diametral plane of the tubular body containing generatrix. The distributor includes a ramp partially throttling an air flow area of the main body to reduce a drop in swirl in the first distributed cylinder induced by the inclined elbow distributor, the ramp provided upstream close to the connecting channels branches of the first distributed cylinder on the elbow inclination side. The ramp can have gently- and steeply-inclined upstream and downstream faces. The distributor can mount to an intake face of a diesel engine cylinder head with two intake ducts per cylinder.

An infinitely variable power branching transmission with first and second operating modes, whereof the components are distributed between two power paths connecting in parallel an engine to vehicle wheels. At least two planetary trains, two electrical machines, a reduction stage, and a control orient differently the power between the transmission input and output based on the operating mode thereof. Two reduction stages are arranged in parallel between the two planetary trains on the same power path, the two reduction stages being respectively urged in the first and in the second operating transmission mode.
